Rhule finally feels like the "right coach" for Nebraska

Was not. He was a 3.

And Suh was going to be great wherever he was. And you don’t really have any takes to dislike- so there’s that.

If you want to discount what actually occurred and instead opt to lean into something completely unprovable, by all means.

But I'll just make sure you're factually wrong on the one factual claim you made.

One of my potential concerns with Rhule is that he has not stayed in one spot for an extended period, quickly jumping to the next big offer that came his way. While I like to think head coach at DONU is a dream role, it's hard to feel ultra confident that he would be willing to stay should a different opportunity (specifically Penn State) were to be available. Future worry because I think he's going to enjoy this year a lot, but worth noting nonetheless.

Additionally, a more pressing question is whether he can he find a way to sustain success? With Raiola, Holgo, etc. we have a great opportunity for a special few years, but I would like to see us get back to consistency and winning the games against inferior teams more soundly instead of nailbiters against the bad teams.

While I get this, for him to end up at PSU it means

Franklin would have done amazing at PSU and jumped to the pros or maybe some SEC gig?

And

That Matt would have had to had at least a few 10 win/playoff seasons at NU.

Agreed on part 2 for sure which would be great! Franklin was on the hot seat not too long ago. A dud of a season this year puts him right back on it. But totally get your point and makes sense. I'd just like to see some continuity with success and keep a coach for more than 5 years again.
