This is not my evaluation but has been stated by others (i.e BigWillie) on this board. It's even mentioned I think in his ESPN scouting report, where he's not even listed as a quarterback. And yet still many are expecting him to be a Pryor.
IIRC, a summary of what's been said: Cody can thrive in the offense he's in by passing it off to AJ Dugat and letting him rack up the yards. He has the tools but does not consistently make all the throws that he will definitely need to make at the next level. And with his throws being "all arm" as they often are now, he's going to do some long-term damage to his arm if that's not fixed, and that's what I mean by fixing his throwing motion.
There's a difference between getting away with odd mechanics and pulling it off, as some have done, and just not being a polished enough passer to be a starting QB at the Division 1 level at this time.
