He was showing movement before they loaded him into that covered cart thingie when he gave everyone a thumbs up with his right hand.I saw a link on FB that he was showing movement in hospital....Hopefully he has a quick and full recovery!

I'm not sure who he collided with but all his teammates that I saw looked very worried. One was moved to tears.That was an ugly impact. I bet his teammate he collided with was a wreck with worry.

Rutgers' disappointing 31-14 loss to Nebraska on Saturday took a backseat to the concern for center Derrick Nelson, who was involved in a scary collision late in the game.
Rutgers coach Kyle Flood said after the game that Nelson had full movement in his extremities and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick as a precaution. On Sunday, Nelson said he is "doing well" via his unverified Twitter account.
