Serious List of New Head Coach

I wish someone would've introduced them to me. Heck, I was banned after I predicted Nebraska would lose to Minnesota in 2014 ("We aren't going to lose to friggin Minnesota".) I was banned when I said Bo should be let go ("If you know so much, maybe you should be the coach.") I was banned when I said our recruiting class wasn't good enough ("They will coach these guys up.") I was banned when I said Patrick O'Brien was overrated coming out of HS ("He was among the best at the Elite 11 camp! He's a blue-chipper!") I was banned when I said Riley was a bad hire ("his past players all love him - he didn't have the resources at Oregon State - this is a great hire"). Heck, even last year when I said I wasn't sold on Banker yet (and I'm still not) I was ridiculed.
Hi, I am one of the posters that has been critical for a very long time. Nice to meet you.

I haven't ck that out but my guess is an experienced one based on the results thus far and the fact that he's had years of connections.
His Associate HC/ OLB Coach is a Texas High School Coaching legend

His Def Coord has been coaching for 31 years

His Off Coord has coached at BYU, LSU, Colorado, Arizona State etc.

His position coaches have much less experience (some successful state championship HS coaches in TX, others a few years at another P5 or G6 school)

Well for one, he had the balls to fire and revamp his offensive staff after one year, and it seemed to work swimmingly.
He took BYUs OC and OL coach it looks like (their OC is a solid OL coach as well)

Aranda

Napier

please stop with the guys who will never ever come here. Be realistic. We don’t need to stoop to Mike Riley level, but forget urban, stoops etc

I would put Stoops in the category of very unlikely. I do think Matt Campbell would still be good to consider despite ISU only being 3-2 now.  He has at least shown he can have some very good seasons as the head coach of a P5 program and they have beaten some good teams during his tenure. With the Big 12 going down the tubes, he may want to move to another conference.
Nebraska is not a step up from ISU anymore. NU left the Big 12 because of Texas and OU ten years ago. NU is on its 4th coach since then. Is it a coach issue? The Big 10 west is not any better than new Big 12 adds. Matt C turned down the Detroit Lions this past year. Other names?

I have to disagree. Nebraska has positioned itself to be a step up until they stop playing the game all together. Hiring bad coaches doesn't equate to Nebraska being at the level of ISU. Nebraska is in the easier division in the premier conference, has top notch revenue and soon to be facilities, access to top 25 talent, a major brand, and an incredibly loyal fan base. None of which ISU has except for facilities. It's actually embarrassing to see what Scott isn't doing with this kind of set up. We do need a guy though who treats Nebraska like an ISU while knowing he has plenty more to work with. That's how we will succeed.

I haven't listened to any local radio or podcasts the past couple weeks, have any of the local media even bothered speculating on potential replacements?
