Should we fire Satterfield??

Credit to Lloyd here.  I thought he would be stopped at the four.  But we got screwed on the spot.  Again.

I liked the call to go for it here.  Although it sounds like we (rightfully) expected to be closer, which may have affected the play call.

Not sure if it's really designed for Dowdell to go over the top or that's just what he did.  That doesn't seem to be his strong suit.  Would still like to see Nelson get another chance at that.

Kind of an oddity:  not a very good throw and actually a good block from Neyor.  And Lloyd again gets more than it looks like is there.

Can't really see the outside right route but it appears that it was probably somewhat open based on how far back #10 is when the ball gets to the end zone.

Maybe not exactly the screen bluff shot but basically the same concept.  We just can't miss chances like this.

They are bringing seven.  We have six to block.  There is no disguise.  You absolutely have to get rid of it to either of the slant options, especially the wide open one to your vision side.

Other than a simple little fold block - and a Hartzog-style whiff by their safety - there isn't anything special here.  But a really nice gain.

But how in the hell do you just step out of bounds?!?!!?!?!?

Thanks Mav. I’ve never taken the time to look back at the run plays to see what caused these plays to fail so miserably when we fail. I may do try to do that. From the plays you’ve put up, I see one guy missing his assignment and causing everything to fail. Or RB not seeing the flow to find a hole. Or hesitation and the hole collapsing by the time he gets there.

It doesn't look like we did anything special here.  Maybe just caught them in a blitz they didn't fit right.  But it was nice to see some yards from the RB run game.

There's a lot going on here defensively, but JEJ peels back outside down field, and gets 2.  I don't know if he just locked onto the LB after the NG jumps gaps or this is just a great example of looking for work.

Raiola obviously didn't have much time here.  But there are slants on both sides.  Probably need to be able to throw hot against the blitz.

I get it's not easy, but this is a play you really need to see DR stand in and find a way to get this ball to Barney.  I like running the slant underneath the clear out, it was there, and you would think he was locked onto that.  You know you're hot off the edge before the ball is snapped, there's no way around what's coming.  But, you also have the #1 WR to the top of the screen man to man vs inside leverage.  I think you have to be giving him fades to the end zone here as an option he might be more comfortable with.
