Yeah well it makes your wife scream with pleasure!Hence the reason why BRI is a cop in IowaBecause this is America, sir, and in America we don't discriminate against a man with Small Penis Syndrome.I wonder why he would be a trooper then? Also if he had that why would they let him be a trooper?
All kidding aside, I have to ask (for curiousity sake). Have you ever seen anything like this? Say this guy was an aquaintance (but not necessarily a close friend), what would be you and your superior's opinion be? I would assume that initially, especially having only heard the officer's side of the story, your loyalties would gravitate towards him. Would it change after you saw the tape in a similiar situation?Yeah well it makes your wife scream with pleasure!
One thing I never do is ticket a nurse, doctor, or fire fighter. You never know when you come into the ER with a sucking chest wound and you glance up and notice an ER Tech that you previously stroked for some traffic infraction.:cop:
Does not play well with others!!
Sounds like they all should remember that they all are on the same team. Trooper crashes on the interstate and who does he call for the Ride? It is a small world...
Great question....I once backed up another Officer who was in a foot chase. We caught up with him, tackled him, and slapped the cuffs on him. After we got the perp in custody, this one officer who the bad guy originally ran from, came in and kicked him square in the head. I grabbed the young officer and threw him on his a$$. and told him that I was not going to put up with it. We all were investigated by the FBI and the Officer was forced to resign. I have been a cop for a very long time and I can honestly say that I have never did anything where I was scared of reprocussions, and I have never lied on the stand or under oath. I love my career and what the badge stands for.All kidding aside, I have to ask (for curiousity sake). Have you ever seen anything like this? When I was watching it, I thought for sure there has to be some communication between the ambulence and cruiser. Is there not usually a line of communication? the only time I have ever seen an ambulence hijacked was Cannonball run.
While I was working at the jail I witnessed some pretty crazy $hit. There were times when Officer's crossed the line, but two things happened. Either they were counseled on their behavior after work in the locker room, because we all could be sued for their dumba$$ mistakes, or the supervisor was made aware of it immediately. There are times when you have to get down and dirty, but not when certain cirumstances are occuring. After watching this video, granted we aren't going to know the whole story, the Officer just plain overreacted and some type of disciplinary action should be brought up on this Officer or his badge should be taken away. I've never written any ambulance driver, firefighter, nurse, doctor, etc. because of what guru just said. I may end up getting shot one night and I'm going to need these people to help me survive the incident. Is that the right thing to do? Probably not, but let's be honest here, certain people are given a little more leeway than others. That's the way it is and the way it's always gonna be. I know in my department we have a radio channel where we can talk to the fire department and ambulance to coordinate things. All kidding aside, I have to ask (for curiousity sake). Lawsuit was filed yesterday by the EMT against the trooper. KFOR news had a short blirp about it on last nights news and Foxnews.com has an article on it.One HUGE a$$ law suit!
The officer severely over reacted IMO. He got off lucky because this will cost the state a heapin' helpin' in legal fees and settlement. dedhoarse5 days?!?!?! That seems to be a little too easy. I wonder if the person the wagon would have died if something more would have come from this. This dude has some issues....if he has some issues mentally he should not be allowed to be on the road and carry a gun.
