Yant is probably the most impacted by the rule changes than anyone today. Followed by maybe Grant. 

For sure.  Both of those guys look like they are made for some smash mouth football.  They are not going down with arm tackles.

Purdy has an excellent touch on the ball, he's putting the ball on target and giving them the chance to be caught but D is playing well.

Aren’t there some starters gone today? There have been quite a few injuries this Spring and some players haven’t arrived on campus yet-right?

Tight end room is decimated losing top 3 guys, Ervin out, Betts leaving, Teddy/Turner/Piper too. Reimer, Rogers, Snodgrass out. Omar brown may be out too not sure. A lot of guys are out. Some not here yet.

Yant looks like an absolute animal.  I'm not convinced many of the whistles would've been tackles in a game.

I know it's just a modified scrimmage with no live tackling, but D is looking better than I had anticipated with the spring practice comments.

Don’t think this game means much. Worth noting last week was his only live reps of the spring. Smothers just doesn’t have a high level of arm talent

There were two or three plays in the 1st quarter where they "stopped" him by touching him, but in a real game he'd have been gone. No way those even slow him down, and there was plenty of green in front of him each time.
