Spring Game - April 9th @ 1:00

Purdy has an excellent touch on the ball, he's putting the ball on target and giving them the chance to be caught but D is playing well.
Purdy has looked better than I thought he would, however the complaint against him is he’s bad under pressure, which there isn’t any today.

there is nothing anyone can take away from this game.
Unfortunately the format etc makes having the ‘game’ almost a waste of a practice in some ways.  The guys benefit from running plays but without full speed, live and for real effort and intent on both sides of the ball, it’s impossible to learn much.  Fun for the guys in some ways maybe and fun is very important to never lose sight of.

practice.  Practice.  More practice.  Defense seems well prepared and coached, as expected.  Offense is clearly, as expected, a work in progress.  I feel fairly positive and see hopeful signs.  2nd half will involve some hitting. Will see.

That would’ve been a drop. Grimes needs to improve on that. That’s 2/3 drops.
