Status update on Caputo and Eric Martin for CapOne Bowl

Welp...sounds like he had some prosecutors helping him out. He's a HUGE asset to the team....I am not surprised this got dropped down to wreckless driving. Starting center for NEB, bowl game coming up......sounds about right that he would get off a bit easy. He's prob. still being punished by Bo, but he got off easy on this one. I've had a DUI dropped down to wreckless before....and it was because I KNEW SOMEONE on the inside at the courthouse in downtown Omaha (also the fact that I had a clean record and blew a little over a .08), so I got a pass and got dropped down to wreckless. I was a lucky SOB. I am very thankful I got out easy on that one....

Now, that is funny. :D
It's true Knapp. I am thankful everyday that I was given that pass...trust me...
I spelled reckless wrong didn't I? damnit lol chuckleshuffle

Yep, and it made a pun. I'm a word nerd, I know.

Any half-a$$ lawyer could get sleeping in your vehicle (not driving) down from DUI to reckless driving. I don't think any "special" treatment was needed.

And it took that frigging hack Chatelain all of 4 seconds to smash Bo's desicion with the moral hammer.
Chatelain is an oozing zit on the a$$ of college football journalism. And by a$$ of college football journalism I mean the Omaha World Herald.

Based on the circumstances, I think the whole situation was handled FAIRLY by the Lancaster County Attorney's Office and Bo.....A lot of 1st offense DUI's are pleaded down to reckless, depending on the circumstances........I'm sure Bo counseled Caputo (which probably wasn't very pleasant ) and Bo left it at that....as far as I'm concerned, case closed.

I guess I am not at all surprised to see the terms dropped and pass in a post that has to do with a player from the Husker offense.

How did this kid not get a DUI?
How did OJ not get charged with murder? Gotta love our justice system, am I right?
Um, OJ did get charged with murder. Don't you remember what seemed like months and months of television coverage on the trial?
Perhaps he meant "charged", as in charged by 1800 volts of electricity in the electric chair. And frankly, I think O.J. should have been "charged" in this manner for his crime. The crime of cutting off his ex-wife's head (nearly), not stealing a few O.J. autographed cards from some memorabilia dealer in Vegas.
