Student Section Has Something Planned

Has anyone said if they plan on doing this for every game?

It would seem like a waste if they only used it once.

The student section knocked that out of the park. Kudos to them on a job well done.

And if you think that's great, just imagine what they could do if they were closer to the action...

The banner will definitely make appearances. I don't know about the whole charade - do you guys think that is something that could become a tradition, that people would like to see every game? The way we saw it when it was discussed was that that would get old and lose it's effect...

Doesn't matter to me whos idea it was! It was awesome. Finally brought some intimidation to our house. I just hope that even against lesser opponents the rest of the stadium follows the students because just like we don't want players to have let downs against those opponents, the team doesn't want the fans to be quiet for lesser opponents! They feed off of it.

I thought I saw someone say that the signs started out with just "Welcome" and the "U" logo, then they ripped that up put up the "to your worst nightmare" and the skull. Did that really happen or am was just that drunk Saturday?

I heard that as well. I was in the stadium but didn't see it. Maybe I missed it.

I saw it, and it was pretty cool.

First the Welcome sign popped up, followed quickly by a white banner with the Miami logo. The Miami banner stayed for maybe five/ten seconds, then it was ripped apart and taken down.

Then the To Your sign came up, followed shortly thereafter by the Your Worst and Nightmare signs.

I think the huge banner flowed down pretty quickly after that.

The whole thing was choreographed very well, considering they had to get several things done in order, while standing amongst 6,000 students.
