Nope. I'd say Trump retains a slight edge due to the EC, but it's still basically a coin flip.

Anyone that says Biden needs to be replaced, need to propose his replacement. And I'd bet none of them are polling better against Trump than Biden. This continues to be classic breaking news by the politicos and media to get viewers/clicks, which is causing this overreaction to suddenly replace Biden.

The Greeks prayed to Zeus. Today, we know Zeus was a myth.

The Romans prayed to Jupiter. Today, we know Jupiter was a myth.

Continue that list for like 207 other gods from the past. 

We all agree those gods are myths. Thor. Loki. Pan. Athena. They're all myths. 

You agree that those gods are myths. You don't believe any of those gods are real.

 The majority of us just accept that one more god is a myth than you.

Easy to blame the politicos, but they are also meeting privately with Biden and coming away more concerned and a bit angry at Biden's inner circle for keeping him in a bubble about the realities on the ground. And it turns out many of the alternative names are polling at least couple points better than Joe. Not sure where you get your confidence that it's still a coin flip between Biden and Trump, or that voter interest in replacing Biden is just click bait. 65% of Democrats now think Biden should step aside.

Just watching Joe walking and interacting these days is a red flag. I think we all have to be honest about that. The nightmare scenario is spending the next four months watching it get worse, unable to do anything about it. Some might claim the media is being unfair catching every Biden stumble and gaffe, but it's not unfair. It's an incredibly legitimate story. Perhaps we all agree that a weakened Biden is far better than a raging Donald Trump, but that weaker Biden is not going to do better than the stronger Biden who was already trailing in the swing states he carried in 2020.

Are God’s hands real? In your haste to start an argument you misquoted the post. Just wanted to jab you a bit as your soul seems irreconcilably tortured.

God’s hand did not shield Trump. Trump got extremely lucky and/or the shooter was not very good. If God’s hand shielded Trump then his hand also caused the death of an innocent bystander and the injury of a couple others. You simply cannot claim both things; God did one thing but we don’t know why he allowed the other things to happen. He either has his hand in every occurrence or he is involved in none. I choose to believe the latter, that he is uninvolved, because if he is involved in the goings on in this world, he has a lot of ‘splaining to do.

I appreciate your care. I know it comes from a sincere place.

I was you several years ago. Despite that gnawing doubt I always had,  I was on church council, I led Bible studies, small groups, that whole thing.

I was a Lay minister. I told sermons. If you want someone to lead a HuskerBoard Bible study, I guarantee you I'm qualified. 

But...

Then I allowed myself the right to think through it.That was a big step. It was painful, because it went against what all my family thought.  Thinking differently than what you've been taught your whole life is scary. Been there.

You believe all of the ten thousand gods humans have worshiped in the last umpteen thousand years are fake. Except one.

I'm saying give yourself the gift of thinking maybe all magic people are fake.

And yeah, you're going to say you have, I've been there.
