Was it the original overall wearing Herbie or the cowboy looking guy?Herbie Husker was at the VB game Wednesday night and no sign of Lil Red.
Is Herbie back and was he at the FB game? Please say it is so?!

Lil Red was on the sidelines of today's game. That's how I feel too. Lil Red isn't our mascot, just sort of an entertainment thing, but the original Herbie needs to return next season along with shoulder stripes on our jersey and black shoes with white laces. Time to get back to old Nebraska.Lil Red was on the sidelines of today's game. Herbie is at every game. At the beginning him and Lil Red ride a two person bike onto the field. He never left, he just isnt as visible as lil red

I was going to say, Herbie has been to every football game I can think of. For some reason, people think he's not at football games anymore? He rode a bike for two out on the field with lil red yesterday for Christs sake.

Just to rustle some feathers, I'd love to see them come up with a new mascot named "Herb." He'd be like the old Herbie, but he'd be black.
