If Heisman voting took place after the bowl games, Tommie Frazier would have been the 1995 Heisman winner. Eddie George was a good player, but in his final bowl game as a college athlete he performed poorly and the Buckeyes lost the game. On the other hand, Frazier had arguably the best game of his life.
These things have a way of working themselves out, though. Frazier (who many argued DID deserve it) didn't get it in '95, and Crouch (who many argued DIDN'T deserve it) got one in 2001.
