It's all subjective. It's called selective history.Do we have anything that doesn't involve Oklahoma? starting to think that was a one-sided rivalry as well. Ask Colorado their top 10 games and it would be the ones they beat us in, just like we spew off a list of OK victories. (same w/ the top plays) Ask Oklahoma their top 10 games and Nebraska maybe makes 2 of them I bet.
And I'd bet you'd be wrong. (remember the RRR isn't a home game)Do we have anything that doesn't involve Oklahoma? starting to think that was a one-sided rivalry as well. I don't think we have to be overly concerned about objectivity. It sounds like every Big Ten school will get their own episode and the best plays/games at their home stadium are picked by their fans. I'm sure the Michigan episode will be heavily dominated by Ohio State games and vice-versa.Do we have anything that doesn't involve Oklahoma? starting to think that was a one-sided rivalry as well. reading is overrated anyway!Games that happened in Memorial Stadium.the obvious 5 games we won the national titles in.
just goes to show you how crappy/meaningless most of the other Big8/Big12 North games were throughout our history. Our "all time wins" number is slightly padded IMOAnd I'd bet you'd be wrong. Nebraska's list of course is going to be OU heavy with some B8,B12,OOC games thrown in. Just like OU's would be NU heavy with OSU being 2nd and some B8/B12/OOC games rounding it out. If Nebraska had a second school in the state we'd have an Okie Light too, we don't so our top is a little bit more OU heavy than OU's would be Nebraska heavy, but not by much.
Simply put when you have to take bowl games, neutral site games and road games out, Nebraska and Oklahoma are going to both have a lot of games featuring the other on the list for the sheer reason that they were the regular season conference game that had the most riding on it nearly every season and every other year it was a home game.
Edit: Though when I put my list together it only included 4 Nebraska/Oklahoma games.. I did expect it to be more. I'd say an OU list would have 3-4 Nebraska/Oklahoma games on it as well. - Especially ones where they were throwing oranges.
Every conference has patsies, though. To say our wins are padded you'd have to say the same thing about Michigan, who played Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Northwestern every year. Most years Sparty is down rather than up, and Wiscy has been hit-and-miss over the years. Iowa has been down a lot, especially in the 90s. Purdue has had a few decent years in the last couple of decades as well.just goes to show you how crappy/meaningless most of the other Big8/Big12 North games were throughout our history. This is the second time you've beat me to what I was going to say. First the Nate Swift punt return against Va. Tech, now this. Glad we're on the same page.2006 Nebraska vs. Texas
I was at that game, the satdium actually shook it was so loud. Then on top of that it started to snow late in the second half. We lost, but it was an electric atmosphere.
Was going to post this, too. I was on the east side 'round about the 25 in the student section and it was bananas. I've never hugged so many strangers in one day. You had blocked kicks, trick plays, a freak snow storm, late-game drama, costly turnovers, etc. That game was an instant classic and I'll never forget it. Too bad Terrance Nunn couldn't hold onto that ball.2006 Nebraska vs. Texas

OU would have alot quite a few Nebraska games, but probably more Texas games than any other team, just because its their biggest rivalry. but Nebraska would be in there quite a few times alsoI don't think we have to be overly concerned about objectivity.
