Well since it's illegal and unconstitutional that's the only place to start.  But that keeps getting whitewashed, no pun intended.

Waste in the sense that you don't think we should be funding stuff like this and have different priorities, not waste in the sense of money being mismanaged or used for things it wasn't approved to be used for. 

So the end result of you starting with a tweet that USAID gave George Soros $270 million dollars is just that there's an organization getting grants that you think shouldn't be. What a scandal.

Waste is certainly a nebulous term and can have different meanings to different people I think we can agree on.  
 

I think we also should be able to agree that a government grant request write up can have lots of wording that sounds great and is fairly non-specific that usually can’t track back to specific outcome based results—-fairly nebulous spending once the grant money gets in the hands of the original recipient and parsed out to other recipients while being filtered through high salaries and administrative spending.   Waste.

USAID headquarters was closed on Monday because of a security incident, sources said, but the incident stemmed from efforts over the weekend by personnel from the Elon Musk-run Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, to access USAID systems. 
 

Sources told CBS News it was related to the USAID chief of staff, Matt Hopson, a recent Trump appointee, who attempted to block DOGE officials from getting access to USAID systems. Two top security officials were fired Monday for attempting to block access to DOGE, according to multiple sources. Hopson resigned Sunday.

I also saw a report yesterday that they are putting some Dept of Ed employees on leave for attending a DEI training that his last administration required them to attend.

Comical to think the Musk thinks so little of MAGA that he'll use programmers to investigate "waste, fraud, and abuse" rather than actual professionals with experience investigating that sort of thing. 

It's almost like he's not finding actual waste and fraud but instead he's programming the system for his own gain, to cover his own fraud, and to manufacturer data to feed to his challenged followers or worse.

An audit of a municipality done by pros will take a month or longer.  We're to believe Musk's pubescent gang of hacks have gone through these departments in a matter of days?

Well, it’s definitely not for the purpose of helping them. They ordered the CFPB to take the week off. I don’t think people realize the things banks were allowed to do before the CFPB. Another example: they used to be able to (and did) change your card APR without telling you.
