The comparatively small budget of USAID and the percentage of waste that has been shown within that budget makes your statements highly likely to be wrong.    Just because incompetent lawmakers pass large omnibus bills when few of them know what’s actually in them before saying yes, doesn’t mean that money isn’t wasted, ends up being fraudulently spent or abused along the way through the various NGO’s. 
 

If you really want to open your eyes vs sticking to talking points, OIG offices have already shown that we had $250 billion in overpayments for 2023 (maybe it was 2022).   That’s just the cursory amount found by being a once over by OIG.   The true fantasy is thinking our money is vastly vastly well spent.  

 
The gaslighting red herring continues.  Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that:

A) Elon and Trump aren't doing this to find "waste, fraud, and abuse" because they care about anything other than themselves and unabated power

B) it is illegal and unconditional 

C) any data coming out of this regime about "waste, fraud, and abuse" cannot be believed.  That's the problem with being caught out as a disinformation regime.

Let’s go with your number.   Far stretch but let’s go with it….  We have an almost $7trillion budget and we will take out $1trillion for defense and defense related items for round numbers.  Another $1 trillion for interest which leaves $5 trillion.   At 5% equals $250 billion A YEAR of money going where it shouldn’t go.  That doesn’t even include the money that goes to NGO’s (money where it SHOULD GO before being filtered out to other entities that aren’t designated by Congress———abuse waste).   
 

so a minimum of $2.5 trillion dollars over 10 years (as our government loves to put spending over a decade when doing bills) seems like more than nothing to see here stuff for people who care about where tax money goes.  

 
Odd that when Project 2025 first came to light and people expressed their proper concern, MAGA was all "that's crazy talk. It'll never happen. Have you read it? I don't know anything about it".  Indicating they did not agree with the level of extremism contained in the plan.  But now that it's unfolding just as the plan laid out, MAGA are full throated apologists.  It's almost like they were lying in the first place.

It says some of their claimed programs include judicial reform, legal aid, and rule of law initiatives in countries like Albania, Armenia, Cambodia, and Georgia, as well as civil society training in nations such as Kyrgyzstan and Uganda. It doesn't say if that money was or wasn't used for those programs. It doesn't say that those programs are a smokescreen for something else, or that they aren't doing what they're claiming. It doesn't say if anybody's gotten rich, or if anybody's been breaking the law, or if the money hasn't been accounted for, or if the money is serving interests other than our countries', or anything else. Also, the last week of DataReuplican's tweets show zero results for Soros or East-West Institute, so no help there.

So, again,

I'd also add that Musk didn't discover any of this. It was also reported on about 8 years ago that they were receiving $ from USAID.

Provide your source for proving what he is saying is false?  Or better yet, come up with an argument dispelling why what he is saying is bad?   Maybe start there 🤦‍♂️
