UCLA...

These are what, a couple of 7 or 8 win teams? I think that UCLA had better get all the kinks worked out before next week...

So far I see a dangerous UCLA offense, and equally generous defense. Obviously, are D talent is better than Rice, and if UCLA is as aggressive next week as they are today, Rex and Taylor should have a field day.

Ron Zook needs a throat lozenge or something; its painful to listen to. Plus, he seems to miss the mark with a lot of his comments.
Their offense can be dangerous, but as soon as they meet anyone that's physical and will slap them in the mouth they'll fold, imo.
Oh, I agree that NU's talent level should pose a better challenge than Rice. However, the type of plays they're running are the type of plays/scheme that seemed to fluster our D last year. Ultimately, I don't think the UCLA offense is as fast as Rice is making them seem.
I agree, from last year's D. Hopefully a year older and wiser will make this a non-issue. Their offense reminds me of Mizzou's to a degree.

Combined 7-19
I meant this year, and being terribly optimistic
I think he did too.

Rice won't sniff 6 wins, 4 maybe and that's a stretch. UCLA won 6 last year, I don't expect more.
Kinda both. I don't think either is going bowling.

Hey, Rice is in that powerhouse, Conference USA....

Does anyone else have this warm glowing feeling in their souls right now? Thank God football finally started.

And no I'm not drunk.
