LINCOLN, Neb Nebraska athletic director Tom Osborne said he remains confident the school faces no additional scrutiny after revelations this week of extensive contact between former North Carolina associate head football coach John Blake and former Cornhuskers defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
According to Osborne, NU compliance director Gary Bargen and NCAA faculty representative Josephine Potuto reviewed several years of records related to Blake, who coached at Nebraska from 2004 to 2006. Blake recruited Suh, The Associated Press' 2009 Player of the Year and No. 2 pick overall in this spring's NFL draft.
"They could not see anything that indicated any violation here," Osborne said Wednesday. "So we feel good about where we are."
