Yeah, it's time to leave the Big 12

Yeah. Honestly, what does Mack Brown appearing on TV have to do with the Big 12 not being appropriate for Nebraska? Big deal.

It dilutes the brand that the big 12 has by taking attention away from their 3 day media event and the spotlight off it's other teams. It's a symptom of the larger problems in the conference at the very least and at worst Texas going out to basically say nobody is important but us so we get 2 days, and 4 players... Which is what he was saying.

No not a big deal, but something that if you are running a league should be worked out before hand so you don't have that happen and you maybe, you know, have them cover the Big 12 event rather then just one team. Especially when Mack Brown could fly out to ESPN any other week during the summer.

The above is paraphrased from NE Statepaper's Sam McKewon's article.

And I agree - its more about the Big 12 having ZERO control over one of its members

It pretty much a d!(k move on texas part. they are trying to national attention when 4 teams(one's nebraska...how could they have planned that?) have their media day in the sun and they were also late to get to their own media day time slot. this is what we come to expect of texas though...

6. Clever move from Nebraska sports information with its football media guide. The cover picture shows a large jersey No. 10. Of course, it's the 2010 season. But more on the sneaky side, it's a signal of NU's move next season to the Big Ten.

:cheers

Before you get your pitchforks and torches out, Mack Brown said some very respectable things about our program.
So what, Hitler had some great things to say about the U.S. before 1941. Talk is cheap and I prefer to judge a man by his actions.

So far I'm not real impressed with Texas or Mac Brown's. :hookerhorns

You are always allowed to browse. But unless you intend on making some personal attacks or something, you won't be in danger of being banned.
