Your 2024 Nebraska Cornhuskers

Jayln Gramstad, NAIA Player of the Year QB committed to Nebraska. Probably best case scenario in adding him to the room. Probably would not have gotten another high level QB from a P5 or G5 to come here with Dylan expecting to start. Had about 4000 passing yards last year.
Better than anyone minus Dylan tbh

There is another player joining as well but is not enrolled it seems.

I know they wouldn't take him if they didn't think he could at least be competent, but I think he's competition/insurance for Longval in the "emergency QB" role more than anything. The leap from NAIA > Big Ten is massive, it's significantly below Juco IMO. Now Longval didn't play in his year at Juco so it's not like any of the walk-ons have great pedigrees and playing well counts for something regardless of the level. But things will not be going to plan if either of them take meaningful snaps - best case for all involved is they get to take some snaps as we close out blowout wins to preserve Kaelin's redshirt.

We will see. FYI a lot of coaches had the same take. HH is a TE. And DK is true freshman. It’s not like we exactly have a wealth of talent outside of DR.

If Gramstad looks competent in practice and earns the staff’s confidence HH could easily morph in a Tysom Hill type role in the offense.

Correction, we don’t have a lot of experience. We don’t know yet if we have talent behind Dylan with DK.

I’m glad we got this kid to add to the room.

Isn’t he a walk on? I’m good with that.

Probably picked up some depth and all it cost was a membership in the rib-eye of the month from Piedmontese beef.
Yes. And I don’t disagree. I am legitimately saying he had to have a great camp because his performance was not good at the JUCO level.

I would assume he will start opposite Hill, since the other Hill got hurt, probably came here knowing that the hill he would have to climb to start would not be that high and was also hurt...Hill, is hurt, not the hill.
