Huskers dominant against Boilermakers in 3-0 win for women's soccer

Very nice performance by the soccer team! 3-0, very dominant, even the announcer for the Boilermakers stated it was as good a thumping as you'd ever see, just for the wrong side. This team is building into something special, and the fantastic piece is that Morgan Marlborough, who scored her second hat trick in as many games, is only a junior, and has the potential to carry this team to heights we haven't seen since the late '90s/early '00s, in the days before the sadness of Jenna Cooper's death overwhelmed the team for a time. It's good to see the fight and the competition really getting back to a level that Walker knows these athletes are capable of. Can't wait to see the battles against those teams in the Big 10 that are either ranked or receiving votes. The stretch with Penn State, Ohio State, Illinois and Iowa will really test their mettle, but also should be a good build-up to the conference tourney and the NCAA tourney. Can't wait to see the rest of the season unfold!
