  1. 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? 25 Years 2) What/who led you to The Nation? I became a Husker fan when I was 8 during my first year of pee wee football in suburban Dallas, TX. Our uniforms, red pants/white jerseys, oddly resembled this college team's road uniform on TV that seemed to be always on, and were usually winning. I was the QB, and I appropriately chose #12, and it was 1982. That's right. 3) Where are you from originally? Dallas, TX (suburb of Coppell) - Southlake Carroll High was our big rival (Chase Daniel), but I also played against Kris Brown when he was a QB in 1991. 4) Where do you live now? Arlington, VA 5) Favorite Husker memory? My third NU/OU game - 1988. After driving all the way from Texas to Lincoln the previous two years to witness two heartbreaking losses, I was treated to a shorter tip to Norman. Sleet, rain, wind, and cold saw the Blackshirts shut down OU that day, 7-3. I never felt so warm walking to the parking lot though.. and I wasn't even old enough to drink yet. 6) Worst Husker memory? Same stadium, different story - 2000 NU/OU. After the Huskers went up a quick 14-0, I proceeded to let an uncharacteristic Husker-like yell come from my mouth in the middle of an entire sea of crimson- "This feels just like the good old days, doesn't it?" (eluding to OU's downyears and our annual whippings in the 90s, ie. 73-21). We all know what happened next - needless to say it was the longest, most brutal treatment I've received in an opposing stadium for 3 quarters of football (and I'm a Cowboys fan who's been to FedEx field wearing a Troy Aikman jersey). 7) Number of home games attended? 6 8) Number of away games attended? 6 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? My trusty #7 home jersey 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) Other than Memorial Stadium, Union Pub on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., home of the National Capital Cornhuskers 11) Favorite all time player? Eric Crouch 12) WCO or Option? I think if you combine them = spread, so I'll take both. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? Byrne 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Herbie 15) Favorite Husker play? Cory Schlesinger's 2nd TD run to beat Miami in the 1995 Orange Bowl (watching Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis lay on the ground panting for air) 16) Favorite game-day beverage? Jim Beam & Coke 17) How did you find HuskerBoard? Google Search
