  1. I believe it is because other players are ranked so much differently by each service. His are all pretty similar whereas another player could be rated, let's say 25 spots in front of him by one service, yet 1 spot behind him in another. The 2nd players composite would be higher even though ranked behind him in a service or two.
  2. .....he had an off day. As the lone senior and soul of the program, he's the clear cut best player. You live and die with him unless others step up. Jack stepped up in the first half as well as Horne and Jordy and times, but the foul trouble was eventually too much to overcome. Jordy couldn't play as physical of defense as he'd like and it cost us points in the 2nd half. That was the difference, not Tai being selfish. An off game? His lack of team play has costed us more than one game this year. He had sev, TOs and more than half his shots were forced. Also the last few games, he has gotten frustrated about the officiating and quits playing def.. If you remember, he was on the bench when we came back against Purdue. It's all about Tai, plain and simple. ....no. No What! Also remember he had 2 TO to cost us a game. While I will agree Tai has some Petteway-esque head scratching plays and shots, the guy is doing so much on a nightly basis to keep this team not only in most of these games, but pulling out W's in games that look like they could have gone the other way (remember he was the catalyst in that 14-0 run to win @ Maryland?) 2nd half in general was ugly and very tough to keep consistency with Watson only available for a few mins and major foul trouble. No way is this on 1 single player and we are a much better team with Tai on the floor.
  3. idk if they were complaining about the actual count, but a lot of them were pretty frustrated that the refs let us play so physical when double-teaming and trapping and seemed to think we got a lot of minimal contact fouls. The Purdue folks can get as frustrated as they want, but from my vantage point that physical play was allowed on both ends. Swanigan easily could have had 5+ fouls on him by the way he was bulling in for boards on both ends. Not to mention the amount of pivot foot switches/shuffles on he and Haas near the paint. Heck of a win by the Skers, would be great to see them build on this one going forward!
