Maybe it's really because he never experienced failure before as a HC and had no answers for problems and dealing with adversity.
I don't think he ever had a plan B, C, and D going into Lincoln with diff philosophies and approach running a football team.
It also didn't help that he was adored and praised walking into LNK and it probably fueled his ego and stubbornness.
3 offensive coordinators including him as a play caller didn't help his case. He didn't surround himself with an experienced staff.
However, moving ahead, it is possible that Frost could be a HC somewhere and could be a better HC. Learning from experience. By staying positive and humble, being more prepared for everything, more focused. Surround himself with experienced assistant coaches, spend as much time with the defense as offense, and stay away from play calling. Because he was in over his head and needs to learn from that.
