Penn State Game Preview

When PSU shot their wad against Indiana last week I was pretty happy they might have just given their last big effort. Then they recomposed this week and took on a far less superior MSU and handled their business.
They still have some nice horses and are still playing hard.
Will be interesting up in unHappy Valley.

Hopefully a week of rest and some tight game planning will serve us well. I think we need to hit them in the f’ing mouth early so they realize they have squat to play for and we have a lot to play for, all things considered.

They ended up winning comfortably. But it was 14-10 with five minutes to go in the game. They converted a fourth-down TD then MSU fumbled in the Penn State red zone.

Tim Hager? I mean, I was a UNL student and lifelong fan in 1979 and I'd totally forgotten that name. But the spin move and long bomb to Miller on that second TD made him look like a five star recruit.

The kicker in that game started kicking as a kid in our front yard when I was really little.
 
Prime Time game again! Lots of opportunities here to put up or shut up. If EJ shines once again, he’d leap on the national stage. Their crowd will be a big factor.

Agree. The line doesn’t make sense. It’s like they are only thinking about the preseason opinions of the teams and not considering exactly how the season has gone.
 
I feel like Every week in the B1G is a fight. Little NU hung with Michigan. Like forget records…

Curious what our record would be in the big xII.

I think it's based on our habit of not doing well in primetime on the "big" stage. It's a down PSU, but it's still PSU....Hostile crowd, 2nd start for TJ, on the road.....
