**** The Official "O-linemaggedon" Thread ****

Yeah, he def read the entire Tyler Moore thread. He had a few laughs, a few tears and decided that his journalism career needs a lift only that thread could give it. But I ahve always imagined Steve was a poster on HB, but who would it be?

Knapp? No, Sipple isnt that smart.

Enhance? No, Ehance actually knows how to write.

EZ? No, once again too smart.

PaulCrewe? I highly doubt it.

Walksalone? I think we all know that answer.

Po? Once again we all know that answer.

Me? Hahahaha, no.

Nuance? Maybe...
you have hurt me, more, than you will ever, ever know....

This is either going to make this season completely painful to watch, or it's going to force some of these guys to step up to the next level...
Our o-line play has been pretty sad to watch since Tenopir was forced out. Neither Cotton or Wagner have been able to really develop any of these guys. I just get the feeling if we had the O-line coach from Wisc or Iowa our line would be a force.
Wisconsin, okay I see that. But Iowa? What are you, on dope?
Iowa has had better lines then we have over the last 5-6 years. They have had 13 olinemen drafted since 2003 and 2 first rounders in back to back years (2010 and 2011)
This. And Iowa typically will have to develop their guys farther. In fact a knock on Iowa O-linemen by NFL scouts has been that they do not have much room to improve, they have been coached to the max of their abilities.

Iowa also tends to have a solid O-line every year, maybe not killer, but they are getting lesser talent than NU is also. They somehow have a running game every year, with whatever running back is still on the roster. That is a good sign for an O-line.

O Linemaggedon started when Andrus Peat spurned us for Stanford.

If we had him, all our OL troubles would be resolved.

Similarly, Owa would solve all of our past, present, and future DL problems instead of wasting away at...wherever the heck he went. Don't know because we haven't heard anything about him because he plays for some crappy team that can't coach him up properly. Coulda been Suh Jr.

Can't wait to maul UCLA - and Devin Fuller.

I wonder where Owa fits into their new 3-4 defense? I don't think he's starting, or will ever start in that defense. I'm surprised he hasn't transferred to play in a defense that fits him.
