  1. I WILL continue to support the teams, I WILL still go to the aTm game, I WILL still scream my head off for them. But lord do I really miss the days of domination, when the game was only close at kickoff then we just creamed everyone we played! And untel this team starts playing football like it was ment to be played, with some freakin passion and desire to win, it will be hard to watch and support them........but I will!!

    Go BIG freakin RED

lets play some darn football men!!

    AMEN TO THAT!

  2. For those interested, we are now up to 14 in Rivals' Team Rankings.

If Paul is bumped up to a :star:star:star:star:star , we will have a Top-Ten class.

With :star:star:star:star players like Bernstine, Ross, and Burkes still having us high on their lists.

Bernstine was quoted in saying after his Nu visit that Iowa was still leading for his services, so i dont think we will be seeing him in Lincoln, but as far as ross and Burkes it looks really good for both of them. :thumbs

  3. Just read a teaser on rivals.com that Witt may be looking elsewhere. Who knows, they may just be trying to send Husker fans into enough frenzy to purchase a membership.

I read that as well. I don't need the stress! Someone know what's up?

trust me all is good witt is N :thumbs

  4. we should have another big play reciever come in during the offseason as well.......
though mo is the man, rumor going around is meno holt is looking really strong, meno and purify could be a nice 1-2 punch for keller. :thumbs
  5. All hail the incredibly inept, god-damned total f'ing embarrassment, total f'ing sham, 90f'ing6th ranked, yep you read that right sports fans, the ranked in the entire land, totally f'ing laughable Nebraska offense:

totally laughable huh, just ask colorado what happened when they thought the same thing, nuff said :thumbs it's game time huskers lets roll up the wolverines and put the big red back in the spot light. :cheers

  6. Patience is fine and saying you have a young team is fine aswell but when improvement during the year for the past 2 years isn't showing its time for some concern.

let's see last year 5 wins this year 6 wins possibly more, wow looks like improvement to me. i guess if we were'nt playing for the national title then there is now improvement to some husker fans, or so called fans.

  7. I figure that I would vent a little and give my 2 cents about the huskers talent situation, ah here we go, first of all on the 2005 husker squad 8 of 11 offensive starters were recruited by Frank Solich and 11 of 11 defensive starters were recruited by Frank solich. What this means is that, including kickers and punters, 20 of 24 starters, 83% of the Husker football team were recruited by Frankie. Now, there are some talented players in this group, but there are some gaping deficiencies. The deal is is that when it comes time to assess blame for the team's talent level, Billy C does not shoulder the bulk of the blame.

To make things worse, many of the offensive players in that group were recruited to play option heavy offense that is 180 degrees from the type of offense they are now playing. The point is those of you who believe that Billy c was handed handed the keys to the ferrari are really not paying close attention. imo he was handed a team that was lacking in talent and and are ill suited to run his offensive schemes.

Im not trying to condemn frank for poor recruiting, thats all said and done and in the past, but the effects of poor recruiting from early 2000 is being felt big time and can not be ignored.

Bottom line is we need patience and need to rally around these kid's and support what we have now, and give it time to get better. Stick together husker nation :thumbs
