    Drew Brown

    Josh Kalu

I can see Cross leaving, especially if the next coach doesn't have an offense that caters to him. I could also see Nate Gerry, Collins and Carter leaving. Again their roles on the team were huge under Bo, if the new scheme doesn't feature around them, they will leave. It also depends on what staff stays under the new coach.

Its more about how the new coach will sell his vision of the Huskers to these kids. If its a good vision and he convinces them to play for "Nebraska" they will stay here.

  2. I think our defense will go out there and prove something, they historically have under Bo right after a big loss. On the flip side, I think TA will struggle again. Why? Cause every time I try to give the kid the benefit of turning things around, he doesn't. After the Northwestern game, I thought he had struggles a little and hope he would show improvement during the Rutgers game, he didn't. I thought he prove something against Purdue the week after, nope. It was a long shot against Wisconsin, but I believed that maybe then he would turn the corner, nope. If he some how does make improvements this week, good for him, but I've stopped betting on the kid to make those improvements the rest of the season.

I think (or hope) to see Ryker in at some point during the game. I think Imani Cross has a big game and the Huskers win comfortably.

A sure fire way to get Bo out?

    Stop going to games.

Just ask Dave Brandon how that worked out for him.

And please, spare me the "I'm supporting the kids," line (cause I know it's coming from someone).

Support the kids - show your displeasure in the coaching staff and get them someone in there that will help them and work for them, instead of screaming at them all the time.

    Nailed it!

Support the kids by getting them a coach that will teach them fundamentals and help them grow into quality football players all with 80% less berating on TV.

    Right! I'll call Bill Callahan.

What a pathetic excuse for an argument.

Pretty sure it wasn't an agrument, pretty sure it was sarcasm. Didn't think I needed an avatar to show it either.

  5. Every team is going to have let downs. People act like we are a team with 40 4*-5* players on our team. Oh yea OSU does and they lost to Va tech. Bama does they lost to Ole miss. A&M does and they suck. We are 8-2 with a bunch of 2-3* guys.

Don't forget Michigan all those highly ranked recruiting classes they put together over the past 5 years.

I wouldn't say Bo has been defeated or is tired of the BS. He has evolved. It's his first HC gig. Whether he stays with the Huskers or not, he'll take a lot of lessons through his experience here. I think what we saw in his earlier years was a DC and he is turning into more of a head coach.

When you think about how college football has been described as more of a business. Pelini is a CEO that surrounds himself with board members who agree with him and don't challenge his ideals. For Pelini, its the next step he must take in evolving as a head coach, you don't need a staff full of people who contradict everything you do, but rather a mix of people who agree with some thing you do and disagree with others. I also don't think Pelini is aggressive when it comes to staff changes. The last time he was somewhat aggressive was when he fired Shawn Watson.

I love it when people say "Pelini can't stop the run!" Like he is the one out there suiting up with pads and a helmet. If Pelini couldn't stop the run, from a strategic standpoint, the majority of our games, if not every game would be like the Wisconsin game.

    Would Bohol come back though?

For the head coaching position, and a chance to revive the program...yes I think he would. He has said in multiple interviews at different times how much he idolizes Tom Osborne. He knows how much the Nebraska football program means to Osborne. Think what it would mean to Coach Bohl to return the program to it's former glory like it used to enjoy under Osborne.

Also I believe Coach Bohl still has family that live in Lincoln.

I like the idea of Bohl. If he hadn't already accepted a head coaching job at Wyoming.

I don't know the dynamics of it, but what your asking is to payoff Bo's contract and everyone else on his staff, and then pay for Craig Bohl's to get him from Wyoming.

  7. My belief in Bo stems from the quote "You'll never appreciate how good something is, until its gone."

I would much rather have a consistent 9 or 10 win season, than run the risk of bringing in a coach who spirals the program back down. Do I want the Huskers to win championships? Hell yes!

Can Bo win championships at Nebraska? Maybe. Can he win them somewhere else? Maybe. Can the Huskers do better under a different coach? Maybe.

But I guarantee you this, the chances the Huskers can do better under a different coach are just about equal that they fall to another 7, 6, 5 win season under a different coach. Are you ready to ride that storm if that happens?

  8. I learned that Tommy Armstrong needs to spend the offseason with Troy Calhoun. It worked for Taylor Martinez.

I learned I am sick and tired of hearing those lame ebola jokes. seriously that crap is old.

I learned that if we fire our coaching staff, I'll probably have to wait till 2018 for the Huskers to have a 9 win season again.
