To be honest I think adidas gear is more comfortable and higher quality in clothing, casual shoes and athletic shoes/equipment. I think people in Nebraska and the middle of the country have their s#!t together better than most of the wackos on the east and west coast. So I could care less if some tool in California laughs at my adidas shoes.
Kids don’t choose their school based on Nike. Sorry but they don’t. I don’t know who created that dips#!t argument. Probably Nike. Oh under armour shoes are total dogs#!t.
Kids choose their school based on playing time, current roster quality, current recruiting success and other committed players, current success on the field, facilities, how well the coaches sell their vision and who they are as a person. If there are 15 things kids care about Nike logo on the jersey is about the last item. Georgia and Alabama success has nothing to do with apparel.
http://amp.thecomeback.com/ncaa/uniforms-recruits-college-football-matter.html There are tons of studies and articles out there explaining what you fail to see. This is just one of them. Try to be less inside the bubble and wake up to reality outside the small population of the Midwest

At the time when he was starting the season before winning a championship his first senior year those stats would be all Smart had to go on. You are saying stats at that level should tell a coach he will never be good.
Jeff Sims had a much larger sample.. Kirby didn’t choose Stetson, Stetson chose Georgia and found his way to the top over some top QB prospects due to development. Sims has had years of turnovers and starts and we still CHOSE him. These aren’t even comparable situations just an example of how many better QBs there are out there.

May be the reason why we will not return to glory is because fans blame adidas instead of admitting that our ADs continue to choose the wrong coaches for the job. Or just may be because we fired two 9-win coaches? Just spitballing.
Maybe it is a sign we stick with the old instead of adapting to the new. Adidas is a sign of old, Nike is always adapting, adidas does the same old boring s#!t. We have had head coaches that were fine, but there are always holes in the quality of assistants. They hire friends instead of the best out there. FWIW People would laugh at you if you wore adidas gear with Jordan’s or Dunks outside of the middle of the country. Whole different world where the best recruits live.

So wait Sims Freshman year he had:
1478 yds, 7.8 ypa, 12 TD 7 int
Stetson Bennet Junior year
1179 yds, 7.6 ypa, 8 TDs 6 int
Fire Kirby Smart. How did he think Bennet would even be a good QB after stats like that!!!
Yeah disregard the 2 years he was a full time starter that put him in the NFL. He was also a walk-on so Kirby didn’t have to do s#!t to get him

Tommy Frazier looked good in Day by Day, let’s get him back

Opinion, sure, but it's because I live in Colorado and have for a long time. I'm not just some guy spewing bulls#!t through his keyboard like you.
The difference between Colorado and Nebraska is Colorado is more open to outsiders. Personal experience before you say I’m spewing BS

I was going to say stick with shilling Nike, but you might be worse at that. No, I'm mistaken - you're much worse at lifestyle evaluations.
Drink, sports, outdoor activities, 9-5. Colorado has mountains, Nebraska does not, but the people do the same s#!t with different views

Wow, this thread is exhausting. I do appreciate the commitment to making the same point, over and over and over again though. Gotta respect the dedication!
Just for clarification though, is Nike better than Adidas?
The population has spoken and YES! I asked Siri too and she said who in the hell wears adidas post Kanye

You make some interesting points, but the larger question remains..........how do you clone Dion? (IF you agree with my premise that HE would NOT come here)
We didn’t give him a chance to come here. Rhule was the chosen one

Couldn’t come up with a good response so you chose an insult? Congrats on being an example of earlier talks in this section.

Do you take pride in being wrong all of the time?
Colorado lifestyle is a lot like “Midwest” and far from West Coast US culture. Tons of Nebraskans, Iowans, Kansans move to Colorado
