Anybody playing right now or have you played it? Thoughts?

I would agree with this statement but the kid did kill the right person behind the gun(his mom). So then what? Do you ban people from getting guns with mental challenged children? Doesn't seem fair to me.

OK, My two cents worth...... Does anyone ever think think that the Middle East may be slightly stableized? And there are no real terrorist threats there except for civil wars that don't worry us? And that maybe the terrorists are moving into destabilized countries like Africa? Just a thought and I will not go into details. Rip my post apart. I do not care. America has an interest in the Global War on Terror my friends and routing it out of Africa.

That Navy helmet is nice! The Army uniform looks like something from the 30's and 40's. Definitely some nice looking uniforms!

Those flags on the back of the Navy's helmet are semaphores that spell out BEAT ARMY! GO NAVY!

When is the tourny? I live overseas and can't exactly stay up until 2 am to play.

I'll be starting Assassin's Creed III tonight. I'm pretty stoked.

AC III is a pretty good game so far. Some big surprises in it right off the bat if you have played the series before.

If you are a history buff, I would recommend reading this book. It's a really good book and is actually very factual and is on the US Navy's recommended reading list.

Seems funny since earlier on ESPN it said he was firm to Clemson.

I was not aware Italy had internet restrictions. Unless its censorship related, I know the rest of the world has some form of censorship board, I was not aware it went as far as internet sales though.

 

Hell, half the people in the US can't watch ESPN3, your ISP gets to say if you can use it or not. Congress needs to get off their asses and get true net neutrality passed.

I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately I don't think the U.S Congress could get it done. I could be wrong. Yes, the Italians do have restrictions. I use the same internet company that all of Italy uses(Telecom). I believe that these restrictions go back to WWII. I know Germany has game and internet restrictions for Black OPS. I could be wrong though. I have tried to mask my IP address to at least access ESPN3 but unfortunately I haven't found anything that works yet. I'll keep you posted if I do.

BTW, if anyone is still playing Skyrim and on the fence about the two pieces of DLC, get Dawnguard, and hold off on Hearthfire until it goes cheap. You get a *lot* of content with Dawnguard, but it's not readily apparent, as much of it is woven into the main game. But it does have some unique areas (Soul Carin, the Verde) that you can go back to at your leisure, with new and unique items and ingredients. Hearthfire is good if you're starting a brand new character, but if you're already established, all you'll be doing is fast-traveling to get supplies, spamming the 'A' button a lot, and getting pissed that you can't *really* modify your home the way you want. Again, it's good for a n00b character, as you can build as you go and get materials on your travels. Otherwise, hold off.

 

I held off and got it this weekend for I believe 25% off... I know, I know, I should have finished this game already but I took a 90 day break from my XBOX because of my job. I have not started the hearthfire yet or dawnguard.

New expansion incoming. Dec4 for xbox, and hopefully just before Christmas for PC. PS3 still out of luck for any DLC.

 

I will get this as well. I like the Elder scrolls series because I honestly feel like you get the most bang for your buck for a console series. I agree with Matt though that the PC versions are hands down better because of the Mods you can do on your own.

I dislike you guys. In Italy we have to wait almost a month before Germany gets off their butts and sends out new games to the American bases. Madden 13 was even worse.. It sold out the first day and we had to wait another three weeks to get more copies of it. I know I could order off of Amazon but it cosdts a lot for overseas shipping through the USPS unless orders aren't over a certain amount.

You don't want the German versions of a lot of games. Pretty much anything that is MA17+ here gets a censorship hammer. couldn't a bunch of you guys get together and place one big order to hit that amount?

Trust me I don't get them. Black Ops here won't even let us download any DL content. They get shipped from the States then get to the bases in Germany and distributed us. So I still get American versions but due to the Italian internet and it's restrictions, (I can't even watch ESPN3) it still won't let you get some DL content.

Why does no one want to talk foreign policy about who is better for president? In my opinion, our foreign policy is going to be the deciding factor for the US staying strong. I personally won't vote for Romney because his foreign policy will make the U.S look like idiots.

We can certainly agree on that! The GOP is orders of magnitude better at simplistic easily repeatable sound bites. Maybe it's because GOP voters are far more likely to repeat them? (job creators, class warfare, war on Christmas, apology tour, etc.)
