To me, I think we ran the ball so much because our defense was playing so well..........against Udub and Wisc our defense did not play so well and it was apparent that we would need to score more points to win......ergo we passed more. I mean we'd have all been beotchin up a storm had TM served up a few more picks and we lost the game because we got away from the run ala Wisconsin game. I think we will continue to do what the GAME dictates we do to win it. If the D is playing lights out like last week and we are having some success with the run lets run it. If not then we can chuck it down the field. The point of having palymakers everywhere is to make the defense respect that part of your game, doesnt mean you HAVE to use them if something else is working

Define: Squabble All the posts that were made after my post, where you were all discussing other people, would fall under that category. Here we discuss topics in the main forums. If you have a problem with a poster, discuss it in the Woodshed. Do not discuss it in any other forum. You will find all of those posts that have been removed from this thread in the Woodshed. I took it as his mod position ended, which in my opinion is a good thing. For those that asked where i went, I was always there, I just stopped posting. After being banned for calling out a known multiple troll (who for some reason was obsessed with the fact that I posted on Shaggybevo), I really never felt the desire to post. I would equate it to this. I went to a wedding about 10 years ago that had an open bar. I really liked rum and coke at the time and drank it quite often. I really have no idea how many I had that night, but the fact that I was sick for 3 days after tells me it was probably too much. I've never had the desire to drink it ever since. Glad to see so many familiar faces. I look forward to meeting some new ones. MP, I PM'd you not long ago about this, maybe you didn't read it. As mod my main priorities were to be fair and consistent..and to be open about things. I 100% agree the guy you are talking about was a troll as did virtually everyone...and they didn't want him there. When you went off on him I either had to suspend you or give you a free pass and if I give one free pass what do I do when the next guy wants one for goign off on some guy he doesn't like? How do you define/rule on who is a big enough troll to allow people to go off on? So the most fair and consistent thing was to just give you a token suspension. It's like a cop that sees a dude break a guy's nose w/ a punch and the guy was asking for it w/ his mouth etc. The cop has to arrest the guy, especially when there are witnesses all over...even if he wanted to punch the guy too. It wasn't much later that he was banned. I realize it didnt' happen as soon as some wanted...but I feel I handled him the way I do all posters. I'm sure if I was sitting online in the fb forum all the time I could have acted sooner. Hope my ramble make sense and you can see where I was coming from. Boise St = Terrible Strength of Schedule Now if we were 1 game behind Michigan, of course I would be rooting for them to lose, but we are not.....WE CONTROL OUR OWN DESTINY!! I am under the impression that we should be able to defeat an UNDEFEATED Michigan just as easily as we should defeat an 0-12 Michigan, it comes down to our team vs Michigans team not Michigans W-L record. But I will say, beating a higher ranked a 8-1 Michigan ranked probably between 11-14 sure a hell looks alot better than beating a a 7-2 Michigan that is unranked or hovering around 24-25. Conversely should we lose, it looks a helluva lot better to have lost to a couple of top 10 teams of which Michigan would be should they beat Iowa and Us

I don't see why this is so difficult. Soooooo..... By this logic, we should have joined the Big East instead? Then we could win the conference every year because nobody else is any good. No! It's about pride, man! Beating good teams on their home turf is what defines great teams, and I would rather we be challenged. If we win vs. a 1-loss Michigan team, we deserve to make it to the CCG. If we don't win, then we don't deserve to win our division. PRIDE Exactly...........otherwise we'd be Boise St.

Right now, we control our own destiny in our division..............that being said, I want Michigan to win..............We shouldn't need help at this point, and if we do need help we don't deserve to be in the CCG anyway. If we're gonna lose to Michigan we're gonna lose to Michigan whether they lose to Iowa or not

We really dont know whats going on there yet either. Apparently David (husker)Max won his lawsuit vs. HP and the sight is set to return to him on Monday. Noone is sure what this means, so a few of us wantedto make sure we had somewhere to stay in touch if we get kicked off of HP. Had a whole lot of people suggest this board, and from what I see, there's a lot to like!
