I love my Huskers, win or lose, and my family will continue to celebrate when we win and be pissed when we continue to lose games by less than a few points. I wasn't a fan of the Riley hire then and wont be going forward. Regardless, my basset hounds (husker and lil' red) and I will continue to cheer on our team every week. 'Not the victory but the action........' GBR.

It pains me to see my Huskers losing like this but would never want us to lose in order to have a coach fired. Riley isn't a bad coach, he's just not right for Nebraska.

Bo did not inherit a program with a losing record.

2 of Callahan's 4 years at NU were losing seasons. 5-6 in '04 and 5-7 in '07. I suppose it's open to interpretation but I would call that inheriting a losing program.

This is exactly why I don't like him. Texas will find another puppet to replace him.

I only opened this thread because I thought I watched the wrong game and maybe we'd actually won. I was wrong, we lost. Turnovers killed us and we lost.

Is he a douche because of the whining about Nebraska winning the "best team of the century" or whatever the heck it was poll? Maybe, but I think he had a valid arguement, and he felt passionate about it. Whatever. Is he a douche because he hates Nebraska? Nope. He doesn't. Is he a douche because he is bad at his job? Nope. He isn't. Is he a douche because he is an egotistical pretty boy? Sure. But many national personalities and celebrities are douches as well. It kind of goes with the territory. Its not like he went all Christian Bale on Pelini or something. In conclusion: Yes he is a douche in a sea of less-talented and less-informed douches. Why do we care, again?

I agree whole heartedly but we'll need to really pick it up going into the B1G game and pick it up even more going into a bowl. 1 game at a time. GBR!!

You don't get that we were clearly the more talented team, but got outcoached?

You don't get that we should've won that game by 3 or 4 touchdowns?

You don't get that we are one of the most undisciplined college football teams in the country?

You don't get that our coaching staff is inadequate?

You don't get that we are lucky as Hell to win a game we had no business winning?

You don't get our program is worth way more than what we saw today?

You don't get that this coach continues to fail each season when it comes to winning something of substance?

What more do you need to get?

As I sat in the stands in the Alamo Bowl many many years ago, I remember thinking I want Interim HC Bo to be the next HC at Nebraska. It didn't happen then and now that he is I'm starting to regret it.

Ik this is naive thinking, but why should i have confidence in someone who can only get 500 people in the stands for football? Ik there are some circumstances at Miami, but damn that's bad.

NU season tickets are handed down generation to generation. Seacon tickets are not something that are easily obtained.

 

No. You cannot inherit tickets, and you cannot sell or transfer your season tickets...(not if the university finds out about it)

100% correct... Dig deep enough on the huskers.com site and you can find out how much per ticket, per year, to sit in a certain zone... West between the 35s is jaw dropping...

I imagine that a lot of teams can say that. 9 wins is acceptable--as long as there are some 11 or 12 win seasons sprinkled in as well in our future. He hasnt given us any of those yet, so forgive me if I'm not on the band wagon.

Not to be a debbie-downer, but it's more of a 6-3 season if you take out 3 of the early season games against way lessor opponents.
