I love my Huskers, win or lose, and my family will continue to celebrate when we win and be pissed when we continue to lose games by less than a few points. I wasn't a fan of the Riley hire then and wont be going forward. Regardless, my basset hounds (husker and lil' red) and I will continue to cheer on our team every week. 'Not the victory but the action........' GBR.

It pains me to see my Huskers losing like this but would never want us to lose in order to have a coach fired. Riley isn't a bad coach, he's just not right for Nebraska.

2 of Callahan's 4 years at NU were losing seasons. 5-6 in '04 and 5-7 in '07. I suppose it's open to interpretation but I would call that inheriting a losing program.

This is exactly why I don't like him. Texas will find another puppet to replace him.

I only opened this thread because I thought I watched the wrong game and maybe we'd actually won. I was wrong, we lost. Turnovers killed us and we lost.

No. You cannot inherit tickets, and you cannot sell or transfer your season tickets...(not if the university finds out about it) They are VERY easily obtained, if you donate enough money. 100% correct... Dig deep enough on the huskers.com site and you can find out how much per ticket, per year, to sit in a certain zone... West between the 35s is jaw dropping... I agree, not 'Literally' Inheirated. But there are dozens of ways around every problem if you put your mind to it.

I imagine that a lot of teams can say that. 9 wins is acceptable--as long as there are some 11 or 12 win seasons sprinkled in as well in our future. He hasnt given us any of those yet, so forgive me if I'm not on the band wagon. Not to be a debbie-downer, but it's more of a 6-3 season if you take out 3 of the early season games against way lessor opponents.I disagree, a win is a win. If it is the case, then can we count the games we sholud have won but lost against lesser opponents and call it an 8 win season?
