Probably correct, but they need to recognize that Paterno did not do the right thing instead of stupidly (blindly) vowing to give him a game ball, while the student body burns down the town because they are so enraged over his "mistreatment." Misguided and sick.

Knapplc - You are right about vengeance, but thousands of people won't see it that way. People are people. And yes, it's ridiculous to think a win will heal the tragedy. It will not. I am simply rooting for NU tomorrow like I expect thousands of other (non NU family) are. As far as the institution goes, no one knows how deep this goes yet. I have been reading all the stories. One report suggested Sandusky was pimping boys to wealthy donors. Could he have gotten away with this behavior, over years, without many insiders knowing about it? Don't think so.

I hope the huskers obliterate Pen State. PSU is decadent. They are responsible for untold suffering, and have brought huge embarrassment to college football. Go Huskers!
