  1. Look, we all know there's only one sure fire way to get the dough boy to make a cutsie chuckle... But getting him to talk.......
  2. Well, I hope we don't disapoint those Pitt fans. If someone expects to loose, then they deserve it.
  3. Heh, speaking of ND - I remember a time when people were saying "Oh NO, he's gonna turn us into Notre Dame!! " And now, the tides have turned a little bit. Go figure
  4. The only thing I really have to say is hats off to Ohio, and our former coach. I'm glad to see him get a W against a decent team like Pitt. But I'm sure that idea could turn into an ugly mess should NU not get the W....
  5. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get lucky and get to see it here in NY. But yeah, most of the time it's internet radio for me.
  6. (it must be a sign, hahaha - Jeopardy tonight (9/12) has a catagory related to NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS. (those poor kids don't know a darn thing though........ ugh) 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Since before I really knew about the Huskers. As a kid, I remember this team in red and white playing in some bowl game. It was probably the Huskers in the mid-90s, but I don't know which. So, that image of them was always there. But I began to seriously follow them 2 years ago, in Frank Solich's last season. What an interesting start to my fan history... 2) What/who led you to The Nation? The memories from when I was younger, combined with my unusual affinity for the color red. But as I got more and more interested in Nebraska, I found what I liked most - tradition, respect, values, etc. That was the thing that kept me being a fan. That is why I like college football more than proffesional... money isn't as big a factor, at least.... well... you know. Money is a factor, though, as we know... But yeah, tradition, respect, and then the fan attitude. That sort of profound loyalty, and celebration. Every game at memorial stadium is like a grand festival, you know? I really hope I get to see one in person some day... 3) Where are you from originally? Somewhere in New York 4) Where do you live now? Somewhere in New York 5) Favorite Husker memory? I don't have many memories. Getting to see them live is a lot for me, as I rarely get to see them on TV, for various reasons. I like listening to them on the radio, over the internet - I get to hear all the hometown commercials on Pinnacle Sports Network, and the 4 hours of pregame, and the post game... I will always remember that. 6) Worst Husker memory? I don't know enough to really state my worst. 7) Number of home games attended? none 8) Number of away games attended? none 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? My hat - I got the "Corn" winter hat over the internet, but it's too small for my head, so I can't wear it. But I wear my awesome Husker "baseball cap". That is my most prized apperel... 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? Whenever I can, wherever I can. 11) Favorite all time player? not sure. 12) WCO or Option? I respect the WCO, but I will always be an option fan. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? DOn't know enough about BB. But... SP seems to at least have the right idea..... but I am not sure... 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? I like both. But I do like the new Herbie.... He looks a little more kickass, so to say. 15) Favorite Husker play? Any run where there is either excellent blocking or several tackles broken. Or both..... 16) Favorite game-day beverage? I like Sobe Energy, but maybe I'm getting into Arizona Green Tea + Pommegranite or whatever. It's RED! I don't like much else. Unless maybe Ginger Ale. Or water. 17) How did you find HuskerBoard?
