Was it that crazy snooty lady from out of state? I’m from GI and I know so many people that are glad she’s gone now.
No, she actually got to GI the year after I left. I heard that she was a trainwreck though.

"People don't quit their jobs, they quit their boss."
This is 100% accurate. I left my last teaching job in Grand Island because the administration was tough to work for. I have taught for 23 years now and I've had some good and some bad, but I would say I definitely left jobs because of bosses. I am really hoping this whole Trev thing is a ploy to get more money, but it sounds like he is probably gone.

This makes no sense to me. Without looking it up, is Trev from Texas?

Agree. OSU and Michigan appear to be very winnable road games if we play them like we did Illinois. However, then we have the Iowa on the road game that sticks out like a turd in the punch bowl.
At Northwestern on Wednesday appears to be our toughest remaining game.
I would say, as of right now, our toughest road game remaining would be @Indiana or @Northwestern. Both of those games could be losses if we don't come out with some intensity.

Our record right now is 16-7. We have 8 games remaining before the Big 10 tournament. 4 home games and 4 road games.
@Northwestern
vs Michigan
vs Penn State
@Indiana
vs Minnesota
@Ohio State
vs Rutgers
@Michigan
I see the 4 home games being very winnable with the way we seem to play at home. The away games I would like to think we could win 1 or 2 of those, but who knows with how we play on the road. If we happen to win 2 or those road games and win each home game that makes us 22-9 heading in to the Big 10 Tournament. If we could win one or more games in the tournament, I see us being in. The way we played Illinois on the road last night has me thinking we could win any one of our remaining road games.

I just need Michigan to beat Villanova in the Sweet 16 and then score a bunch of points against Arizona or Houston in the Elite 8. I've got a chance!

I remember being very nervous when we won in '95 against Miami. For some reason, I wasn't nervous at all against Florida. I remember thinking we just knew we were going to beat them.

I think you should all take the Dwight Schrute philosophy on tipping:
Dwight Schrute:
Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food, I can drive a taxi, I can and do cut my own hair. I did, however, tip my urologist. Because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.- 3

I would love to see Nebraska vs Penn State as an annual game. They have had more success than we have in the last 5 years, but I would say that we are very comparable programs. I had a friend that used to live in State College and I loved visiting the campus. I think, hope, Scott Frost will get us back to where we can compete with Penn State on a regular basis.

I would think at that time of the day that you could probably just grab a spot on or around O street. That is what I would do.
We might end up doing that.

The lot doesn't appear to have a number, but you would come in off Sun Valley Blvd. The lot is actually near the Breslow Ice Center. It's about a 5 minute walk (assuming your 10 year old walks about the same speed as my 75 year old dad).
Thanks, I'll have to try that. The boys are excited to go to the game so they'll probably be walking faster than me.

I'm going to the game with my 10 year old and a friend of his and I'm coming from Broken Bow. Does anyone know the best place for us to park that's a decent walk to the stadium?

That was a very nice gesture. He must be a well liked teacher. Kudos to your daughter and her friends for helping to make his day better.

Heard of some in Broken Bow.
I live in Broken Bow and they have been spotted by people every night for the last 3 or 4 nights that I know of, maybe more.

Hypothetically he could gain that authority though, if we are talking hypotheticals.
True. You all do realize that I'm not a Trump fan right?

Hypothetically Trump could abolish the other branches and merge the US government with the Trump Organization. Then every citizen would be a part of the Trump team.
He doesn't have the authority to do that, but he does have the authority to change an R to a D. Sorry, couldn't resist. Last time I will comment on this.

Just a bit you, but certainly not only you.
Politics is not a team sport, no matter how often Joe on the Street treats it as such. Trump switching parties isn't like being traded from the Cardinals to the Yankees, but the responses to this scenario seem like people think that's how it would work.
I stated it once, but I'll say it again, I thought this thread was all about hypothetical. I seem to have struck a nerve with my hypothetical situation. I'm not talking about you on that one. I know that politics isn't a team sport, but Trump doesn't follow rules. He seems to do whatever he wants to, so it would be in his wheelhouse to pull that stunt.

Just because he would do it does not mean democrats would welcome him with open arms. Your scenario is ridiculous and would end with Trump being swiftly removed from office as he continually has trampled on the constitution. He would do the dems no good politically, why would they embrace him? It didn't really hit a nerve, its just kind of dumb.
I thought that was the point of this whole thread. Hypothetical of what it would look like if Trump won a second term. It's not dumb at all. It would be perfectly in line with something Trump would do. It would hit a nerve with the Dems and get a rise out of them just like Trump would like. Do you think he really cares about doing himself good politically?

Wow, this page is an amazing glimpse into how some people perceive politics.
If this is in reference to me, it's not how I perceive things it's how politicians are. My comment started with stating that I think it would be funny if Trump changed his affiliation to Democrat and that seemed to hit a nerve with some people. I just said that it seems like something he would do.
