  1. Also, if you can go through your schedule, CCG or not, you deserve a BCS shot. If KSU goes undefeated, they hands down deserve to go. This is why SOS goes into the ranking schools. To have an 8 game playoff, are you going to cut down your preseason schedule? 4 preseason games, 8 conference games, 1 CCG, and then 2 playoff games, and a NCG? Way too many games, it will NEVER happen.

    Take out two OOC games.

  2. We're not in the top 50 in most penalties or most penalty yards.

And in every efficiency stat on offense (Yards per play passing, rushing, qb rating, etc) we're in the top 30 and might be top 20, I'd have to re-look...

Our 60+ yards per game in penalties does put us in the top 40.

    Correct.

    t-35 most penalty ypg

    43rdpenatlies/pg

  3. Michigan will be tough lo, we have to win it, I doubt they give it to us like Northwestern. Penn State looks to be playing the best ball in the conference. We have some very tough battles ahead, thinking that we can only lose because of ourselves is not facing reality.

No defense, and a good offense that fumbles a lot. We will not see that with Penn State.

Hope you are right, but I think damned near everyone will be a dog fight if we are to win.

    I agree and disagree...

We have hands down THE most lethal offense in the B1G. That is when we aren't killing ourselves with turnovers and penalties. Our defense is average this year, although better than where we were at the same time last year. Our O can put points on any team IMO with ease barring the above. It's just up to the D to whether they want these W's more than the other team's O. (and the Turn-O issue lol)

  4. We are absolutely the only thing standing in our way of winning out. I said this about last years team and will say it again for this years, cut down the self inflicted wounds and we easily picked up 2 wins last year. Same with this year against UCLA IMO. We just need to learn to get out of our own way.

Yeah I guess it's not the quantity thats killing us, it's the timing. A big one would be that roughing the punter against Wiscy I believe? SJB??

  5. Every fan that attends the Michigan will get to vote after the game on whether or not Bo Pelini should be fired.

Dude, you spew negativity in every thread you comment in, it's getting old and you're being a borderline troll. You can have your opinion, but you are saying the same thing over-and-over again and putting it in A LOT of threads. Get over it............

Yet FLU doesn't get called out for saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and.... well you get the picture.... ?

  6. I want the black rags all over the stadium for this one. That would be kickass. 100% redout, with black rags.

I really hope that crap doesn't catch on.

The Sea of Red trumps "power towels" every time.

Really? I thought the black flags against Wisconsin were intimidating, and awesome.... It would be a nice addition to the crowd, and wouldn't affect any of our other traditions....

There's nothing intimidating, or awesome, or powerful about "power towels".

Except for the fact that they are call POWER TOWELS!!!!! Intimidating, huh? :smokin

  7. MSU would very likely run the table in the B1G (were they in the B1g) and do so w/o being overly challenged... except by OSU.

NU would be in trouble with that matchup.

I don't think so, but that's just me I suppose... I think a defense like Michigan and MIch. St. have had lately could give them fits. I'd say they'd be top three but that's about as far as I'd go...

  8. Rich Fisher hiring was great.

    Ross Ells hiring was great

    Tim Beck's promotion was great

    Terry Joseph's hiring was great

    Rick Kaczenski's hiring was great

John Papuchis' promotion is still questionable, but I have a feeling will be great.

He has hired/promoted a lot of coaches that are doing great things for us, and a lot of them, or most of them have been equally scrutinized as much as the other. Quality coaching staff, and takes more than a year or two to see their best performances.

Ross Ells is the one I question the most....
