    Can't wait.

    Another "small detail"

On his twitter profile....if you look at his "following" one of his most recent follows is the Nebraska Football (@HuskerFBNation) account.....I don't think he follows the *official* Arizona State FB or Arizona FB twitter accounts. I'm just spitballing little pieces of info that might indicate where he commits but that has to be something good right?

.... we've officially gone too far

Yea, you're being ridiculous with that @huskerfan13. I just took the time to go through every single person he follows and calculate how many Nebraska twitter accounts he's following, and we're winning by a mile! Don't even release the video, Lamar!

OV set to Clemson for 1/29

lol this is too freaking classic

You do have to understand that Clemson was just in the National Championship.. They were one onside kick away from going undefeated. If that team was offering me and I was in the kid's shoes, I would be crazy not to at least visit them. Just because a kid visits doesn't mean he's committing. If he does, so be it, but that's not from a lack of effort to this coaching staff.

  3. let this sink in..

    RPI rankings..

    177. NEBRASKA-OMAHA

    201. NEBRASKA

It's honestly quite laughable that you're using this as an argument to say that Nebraska-Omaha is better than Nebraska. If we both played similar opponents and they completely outplayed that team and we lost, that'd be a valid argument, but RPI is not a concrete understanding of which team is better.

As upsetting as it is, it's a rebuilding year. And Miles isn't going anywhere, he's got what, 3-4 years left on contract? It's Nebraska basketball. He's straightening things out. You're fooling yourself if you think Doc ever had this much raw talent sitting around. 4 Rivals 150 players? Chiiilllllll

If this is a rebuilding year, what was last year? How many rebuilding years can you have?

If you'd like to bash on a team that includes SEVEN first year players who previously had no experience, that's fine. But, anyone calling for Tim Miles' head either doesn't remember where this program was before he came to Lincoln or demands national championships to form in 5 years. It's absolutely ludicrous to think that the program has regressed.

  4.

Is that the same coach who is recruiting Lamar Jackson? Because that could definitely help us with him too, if thats the case.

One would assume since Chris Ball was the ASU safeties coach.

Yea, I would guess so. None of the major recruiting sites list his main recruiters. Only reason I asked.

  5.

Butler is the only one that we are recruiting at the same position.

Technically Simmons could play Safety but he's decided he wants to try WR.

I haven't see anywhere that Lamar would play anywhere but Safety

Lamar is a very very versatile player in my opinion. I believe he could honestly play any of the defensive back positions and excel. But, as Mavric said, I believe we would like him as a corner.

  6. He is a 4.0 student with a 33 act score who wants to major in engineering. Smart kid. He will learn fast and has the athletic ability to do the job. I love this prospect. Academics will be huge for him. Does Michigan have a better engineering program than Nebraska? Or does Minnesota? That will be where he ends up... Best engineering program. I don't think he'll go far from home to fl state.

Minnesota and Michigan probably have a better engineering program than we do if you count all the departments. We definitely have our strengths, such as mechanical. But, Minnesota and Michigan are very very good engineering schools. Don't think that rules us out necessarily however.

Just speaking from experience as I'm currently in the ME program at UNL and considered all three universities.

Now that the jerk eyes are back into irrelevancy can we flip this kid?

They were a couple plays away from making the CFP. I don't see how that makes us level with them in any respect.

Lets not pretend that they were much better than us. Unfortunately the teams that represented us in the CFP were duds.

I agree that they were not much better than us when we played, but they had a historical season regardless and made the Rose Bowl, while we went 6-7. I just don't think we're in a place to talk about our relevance currently is all. Not trying to bag on our program or anything of the sort, just think that we have a long way to go.

  8. Medical Hardship Requirements

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:

    • The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.
    • The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.
    • The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.
    • The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

Sadly, I don't think that he qualifies for any of these standards.

  9. Any chance of a medical redshirt?

I wouldn't think so since he played in 5 of our 12 regular season games. I think the cut off for a medical redshirt is 30% of contests or 3 games, whichever is greater. So I don't see him being eligible.
