So is getting into the play-in game the best we can do? Or if we win Sunday and a game or two in the tourney can we get into the main rounds without playing in the play-in?

584 team carries officially. Minus 39 sacks, since they are officially logged as a rushing attempt, equals 545 rushing attempts. Now by taking Ameer's 281 and dividing it by 545, we get about 51%.

Two years ago, we lost in the conference title game.

 

Last year, we won the conference title and lost in the Rose Bowl.

 

This year, we are going to win the conference and bring back that Rose Bowl title.

 

Instead, for Nebraska, it seems we are saying....

 

Two years ago, we got blown out by Ohio State and Wisconsin.

 

Last year, we didn't get blown out by anybody.

 

This year, we are going to have a season where we lose fewer than four games.....

 

 

That doesn't exactly get my blood boiling. And the suggestion that we are going to rise up from where we are at to claim a conference title and a major bowl win while playing a young QB and still asking a TON of young guys to make big time plays... well, it's hard.

 

I look at Auburn and Florida State and Missouri and say... well, why not us? But that is about as far as I can go.

I see Scout has him pegged as an OT... I'd imagine that has something to do with it.

I'm pretty sure he'll play tackle in college. I changed the title.

 

They run a lot of Wing T offense at his high school which usually has a lot of pulling guard action. I would guess he is playing guard for them because he is suck a great athlete.

Is the ESPN profile actually him? The school is different and the picture doesn't look like pictures on other sites.

The ESPN is a blake mcclain from last year that is now a CB for Kentucky.
