    Matt Davidson is that you?:B)

This is the reason  I think if we get blown out by OSU, we should pull the plug early and tell the world we are ready for success and want the top coach that is the right fit for

Nebraska and throw the $$s at them to get them here.

As the quote posted before said:  "What has to be done eventually, must be done immediately."

You can throw all the $$$ at the wall doesn't mean it will stick. If Alberts doesn't have someone locked in, I don't see how firing Frost is the answer.

  2. Was Listening to Happer and Schaefer the other day and another beat writer mentioned needing a hot start against Purdue.

I was thinking we had done anything but start hot all year. Our only TD on an opening drive was vs NW.

My big takeaway is sans the Illinois and Minnesota game we've come out strong in the 2nd half.

If you would like any other data points added to the spreadsheet let me know.

was there a replay or did anyone see the penalty on Jurgens?  I don't recall them showing it while watching the game on TV.  Also 66 for Mich is a holding son of gun.  Believe it was him who tackled Daniels and then on one of Mich bigger plays he was riding on the back of one of our defenders.

Was there even a hold called? There was blatant holding every play. That one with 66 hanging onto Henrich's back is the one that stands out to me and was an absolute game changer.

Yant is the only runningback who has stood out to me at all this year.  Dude needs to get his touches.   Perfect fullback/halfback hybrid for our triple option offense. I just hope it's not an Imani Cross/Devine Ozigbo situation where we refuse to play our best back because he's a big back.   Which is a reasoning I'll never understand.

To me that was the biggest difference in the offense.  Our new triple option offense doesn't work without that option.

If Frost commits to running the option give him a lifetime contract.  We're done looking.

While Yant obviously looked good last night I've been impressed with what Rahmir has done with his shot, those 2 give us a nice one, two punch. I think my biggest takeaway last night is when our O-line can open up some holes these guys can actually hit them!

Just wait until he fumbles twice versus Purdue that sets up Purdue scores but he finishes with 23/32 380 yards 2 TDs and 100 yards rushing and 1 TD and Nebraska loses.

Uhh okay and that has to do with his play today how?

I want to give him 5 full yrs.

the covid year barely even counts to me, what a National but especially a B1G disgrace.

I have patience. If after 5 yrs we haven’t gone to a bowl I can deal with what they decide.

Exactly, we need to give him a legitimate shot. Hard to sell the next guy to come here when we've fired our last 2 coaches in a 7 year span.

Personally, I'm not going to uproot my family to travel to the middle of the country if they're only going to give me 3 years to right the ship.

  7. Anyone have stats on the # of holds called against NE this year? It seems to me that less penalties have been called both ways. Seems like they are letting them play more, I see lots of PI not called but it seems to be going both ways so I'm not to beat up about it. As long as the game is called the same for both teams is all I care about.

Just feels like we've lost a lot of promising players the last few years. Manning was the "next man up" when we lost Spielman. Bell was the next man up when we lost Tre Bryant. Washington was the next man up when we lost Bell. Mills was the next man up when we lost Washington. Is Mills hurt? Or not as effective as hoped? Is Marvin Scott III actually the next man up at RB? We're already moving away from our Heisman-touted Junior quarterback, and eying Logan Smothers as we wonder if Luke McCaffrey is next-man-up enough.

So it's not really one player. Recruiting, depth, and retention is still an ongoing issue.

By all accounts Mills is a bit dinged up still from the NW game heard one of the radio guys say last week he played 81 snaps that game. Sounds like him and Thompkins are out for tomorrow. We really need someone to step up there, either Scott or Johnson because we can't expect Wan'Dale to carry the load like last week.

Would you look at that... Patrick is a 4* AND we'll easily finish this class in the 15-20 range, which guarantees we'll be closer to the #12 class than the #29 class. What a day.

Using the class calculator I don't see us making much movement above #18 without some re-ranking of other commits honestly I'm surprised Fidone isn't even higher but I'll take the #1 TE ranking anyday.

It’s been a difficult last two decades.  The landscape of college football has changed and there are legitimate questions about whether or not Nebraska can return to glory.

After watching how hard the University, Athletic Department and the Football Program have tried to get on the field, I feel pretty good about our leadership.  They want to improve and win.

I don’t know if the Huskers will return to greatness, but I’m more confident than ever that we have the right people in place to find out.

The leadership shown by Bill Moos and Ronnie Green is the best I've seen in my days as a Husker fan. While I'm disappointed we won't be playing on Saturday, I am now more confident than ever with these two at the helm!

I've never heard of high school athletic association ruling a player ineligible. Does this happen often? Even if someone had dual residency shouldn't they be able to play in whichever place they want?

This just seems an overstepping of bounds to me.

Are they durable or do they just look good?

I've worn my 2 pairs of ultraboosts into the ground, I own way to many pairs of shoes and usually wear my boosts everyday, easily get over a year and a half of wear on them before I start to wear the outsole off. I'll second that they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Yet to have an Issue with the flyknit material tearing.
