  1. If he is guilty for what he's charged, I don't want him back. I can take bar fights and brawls, but it's too weird to have a guy flashing people. Sorry. Kind of like how I didn't vote for FSU in the NC (even though I hate the SEC): I can't vote for guys who abuse women. Sorry. One guy like Moss (if true) can tarnish an entire program's image. I'm not holding anybody but Moss responsible. And, yes, I realize that with 120+ guys in a program, some are going to go sideways. Again, don't mind, so long as it's not oddball conduct. I want families to know that NU treats women with respect and don't have any desire to have oddballs on their team out of respect to women.

You should want him back, to show that one act doesn't make someone who they are. He can grow as a person and Bo is willing to help him with that.

He did something dumb I'm sure he knows that and hopefully can grow from it.

We need Moss on this team and he needs this team.

  2. I think Pelini still would have gotten the job, unless LSU made a better offer and promoted him to HC in Miles' place. The Miles to Michigan rumors happened at the same time that LSU was getting ready for the championship game, while NU was also firing Callahan.

As soon as Pederson was fired, it was a foregone conclusion in many fans' minds that Callahan would follow at the end of the season, and Pelini and Gill were immediately the popular choices are far as fan speculation went, even before anyone knew LSU would be in the title game.

When Pelini was hired, Osborne mentioned that one of the main factors in hiring Pelini over Gill was that it was the defense that needed the greatest overhaul. Whether or not LSU made the title game did not change that. Pelini still would have been here.

Gill is still all NEBRASKA and still reps the Husker brand with 100% class, one thing IMO that is for sure is that there would be no on field tirade/meltdowns all of us have come accustomed with now. Looking back at the roster from the '08 - '09 seasons, all most anyone could have went 8 - 4 with the roster at that time (except the guy we fired).

With the cupboard empty of Callahan's recruits Bo's defense has been moderately successful to downright embarrassing these last two seasons. It seems like a 50-50 shot Turner Gill could have done the same thing. Plus, Nebraska would have had it's first Black coach which would have been awesome. Kansas did Gill dirty.

Turner Gill would have had little to no success it would have been a continuation of the BC years

  3. I've never been a TM fan. The guy had guts, but almost always under performed in big games. However, I'll admit that TM gives us a chance to score more points than does TA. If he's fit, let's use him. However, let's bring TA in for a few series, too.

2010 Washington, 2010 Kansas State, 2010 Missouri, 2010 Oklahoma State, 2011 Ohio State, 2011 Michigan State, 2011 Penn State, 2012 Wisconsin, 2012 Northwestern, 2012 Michigan and 2012 Michigan State disagree with your assessment that he almost always under performed.

Please, if you go back and actually look at the box scores Martinez did jack in a lot of those games. If I recall, 2010 missouri was Helu's 300 yard rushing performance and a lot of these games you mention coincide with a huge performance from one of our backs or timely play by our defense. People seem to be real quick to forget games where he single handily threw us out of games by throwing horrible picks without a nebraska receiver within 5-10 yards of the ball.

Not sure how confident I'd feel having him in there when he hasn't been able to suit up, much less run normally since September.

By all means, debunk Landlord's list with stats to back up your claims.

And please provide a list of games, with stats supporting your claim, that Taylor "single-handedly threw us out of games." You could cite 2011 Wisconsin and 2011 Michigan, but you'd also have to throw in (to meet your standard of how Taylor didn't help us win those games because another player's big performance coincided with the win) the defense's utter meltdowns in those games as well.

Gladly, here's a link that breaks down his statistical performance against every team he played, scroll to the bottom, also provides info for home/road, conference records etc.

Very apparent he racked up the bulk of his stats against inferior competition (as do all players) but then dipped dramatically when facing opponents that did not consistently give up 80 yard runs right up the middle to him

You post his Career stats that shows no individual game performaces

Show me in those stats where it provides basis for your points
