  1. I don't suggest you play roulette my boy. Past events are not indicative of future results. If the ball falls on red 18 times in a row, what are the odds you will hit black this time? Still 50/50 'm I right or 'm I right???

You know, I feel bad for you just a wee bit. Your glass is half empty... I understand. You came, you saw the optimism spreading like wildfire. You thought you were throwing around some realism and you were actually overcome with pessimism. It's no big deal...just next time, I would keep that crap to yourself or at least change up your delivery. Not telling you what to do, just a suggestion. Can I engage you in a little wager? I would like your permission to say "I told you so" because as I said at the beginning of this thread, I would rather be one the ones saying "I told you" on the side of a husker win rather than on a loss. I am not superstitious, but I got a feeling... I could just have gas, but I really believe we are on the verge here. Enjoy the game. I'll have you on the back of my mind and praying that your foot makes it into your mouth by the end of the game. Start stretching! :D

Actually it's never 50/50 in roulette my boy.

But besides that, comparing the indicativeness of past results to future outcomes between a roulette wheel and a football team is pretty ridiculous. The Huskers are bound to drop a game or two to underdogs this year, just as in past years. Why not Northwestern?

I can't remember the last conference game where someone didn't get flamed for predicting a Husker's loss, and guess what? There have been plenty of times they've been right the past few years

  2. I can't believe some people here are STILL jumping down people's throats when someone says "I think we'll still lose 2-3 more games". It's the same story every year. Everyone says "this is the year! Look at our schedule! We can't possibly lose to X at home or that crappy Y team!" Then we go out and sh#t the bed in at least two games we should win handily. I think this team is incredibly talented and has the potential to win out. Do I expect that? Absolutely not.

  3. Anybody more in tune with recruting wanna give a quick breakdown of who we have coming in down the line? I'm hoping recruiting OL has gotten more emphasis the last couple years.
