  1. To be HONEST, NU reminds me of UF with Tebow on offence, no, really I’m not kidding. The scheme (no, I’m no and expert) looks very similar, lots of plays where Martinez has multiple options and you have to account for him on EVERY play. Not a ton of deep passes, but a threat of good outside blocking that can turn a short out pattern, or screen into an 80yd TD. The one play where the guard pulled to help sell the play action, then throw the ball, is genius, Ogletree and Herra (LB’s) were frozen stiff on that play. Oh and that one back you guys have I can’t remember his name, uhh, Burkhead I think? That freak’n kid has some heart and passion, and some burst too. Hell I would say he’s right on par with Gurley. The coaching impressed me the most, well that and the “Fight” your team showed, I love it when UGA tries to bully a team, and they just fold (Vandy & Mizou second half this year), but damn with ya’lls team it was tit for tat, that’s when I knew it would be fight to the end. IMHO, if NU were in the SEC; east or west, you guys would be top 3, 4 at worst..
  2. Yup, just what I, and my friends had feared happened… The NU offence and Defense showed up with a bigger chip than the UGA team. And it definitely looked like our NFL laden Defense had $$ in their eyes for three quarters, or our DC finally woke up, and decided to Coach his players. I don’t know how many players you guys have that may jump to the NFL; but there is no reason I see, that NU won’t be a top 10 team next year. I do think there were a few questionable calls that went against NU that effected the game; the intentional grounding penalty (are you kidding me? Everyone saw the RB get tangled up and fall, he was “in the area” so wtf?) oh and the borderline hit on Martinez going out of bounds, I think could have gone either way, but come one the guy was clearly going “out of bounds” again wtf? I was very impressed with Pelini’s fire and enthusiasm, he looked like a crazed manic sometimes (I’m one of those that hate that even keeled personality of Richts, show some freak’n enthusiasm for once, other than waving ur arms like a condor!) All in all I know you guys would have to agree it was a good game; yea the D was sloppy on both sides, but it wasn’t a game that put u to sleep for either teams supporters. Good luck next year Huskers, I think it would be cool to see you guys in Pasadena next year and make it an all “RED” affair. Oh and for the record, I for one don’t think the SEC is the best conference in the world for all time, everything goes in cycles, and for now the SEC is taking its turn. It won’t be long before BIG 12, PAC 12, BIG 10 or ACC get there turn at dominating for a while, no one stays on top forever… Later ya’ll!
  3. what scares me is the $$$ signs these guys may have clouding their eyes, I don't know why but UGA just doesn’t play hard in non-BCS bowl games until the 2nd half, and then it's too little too late, Sparty last Year, Purdue two years before and then WV a few years further back. Most of my friends are scared silly Big RED will roll us like a bum
  4. That’s what I thought, I mean how crazy would it be to come out and try to give the other team more motivation? Of course most of my UGA brethren don't see it that way on the other boards, proves every fan base has idiots. I hope it’s a good contest, and not a blowout either way.
  5. Hi everyone, I came over looking to see if this was for real Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez made a comment today: "Georgia has just another typical Big Ten defense, I'd say." I thought it was kinda weird he would compare UGA's D to what is typically in the Big 10, until I thought about it for a minute, it kinda sounds like he's giving UGA props vs. a Dis. And did he really say the same thing about Carolina last year? You guys know ur Players better than some reporter, just wondering wth the quote is supposed to mean?
