Pretty much the same schools he listed when we offered....
Miami, Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, Arkansas, USC, Notre Dame, Alabama, Clemson and Tennessee (in no particular order).
I see him staying in his home state.
-
Possible start in 2014. Nine game conference schedule could start in 2016. All of these moves are good for B1G football. Now to get the expansion done and expand the brand into SEC country and ACC territory..... enormous for recruiting.
-
As the spring game gets closer we will know more names of prospects visiting. If you know some that are scheduled for a visit that is not listed yet, feel free to post the info.
-
There are some rumblings that he may be thinking about taking some visits. He is still solid to Iowa State, but if he still allows coaches to speak to him then his recruitment is not over.

They suspended the provisions on who can recruit and what printed materials can be sent to recruits.
They're leaving the unlimited calling/texting up to the override, where they will review it if 75 schools request an override by March 20. So far they're at about 48.

Those seeds don't make any sense. N behind teams they beat in their own division....lol.

I think its already been said, but does anybody think out depth at qb might keep a kid from committing, I mean right now we have Martinez, Armstrong,Stanton, and if we get Darlington, it would appear that we have the next several years spoken for at the qb position (I know not all players live up to potential but these guys look like they should be good ones in the future), that might keep a 5* kid from committing in the next year or 2.
No! After this season Martinez graduates. That leaves us with Armstrong and Stanton as the only current scholarship QBs for the 2014 season. The last thing a QB prospect this year has to worry about is being stuck on the depth chart. The opportunity to earn a starting spot will be there every year on campus.
Alabama has 8 QBs on roster this coming season. Wisconsin has 6 QBs on roster this coming season.

Expect Ohio State to offer soon. With an Ohio State offer does his star rating move up to a 4?
-
Committed to Ole Miss. Good luck to the guy. Becoming more humble would benefit him as he heads to the next level.
-
Top two: ND and Alabama. Source close to Lautua tells 247 ND leads over Bama.
Edit: his brother is at Alabama.
Good. I don't want him going to Alabama.

JHopkins247 Jonathan Hilliman --> RT@Thrilliman23: April 1st I will be announcing my official Top 10 Schools. After that its a go from there!!
I don't know how hard we are recruiting him these days. I know we were one of the first schools that recruited him. We will find out soon if we make his list.
-
Teams that are in the running behind Miami are Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, Notre Dame and South Carolina in no particular order.
I'm glad to see Arkansas, Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida State, Ole Miss, Michigan, and UCLA not mentioned.

Sweet, readable post.
It didn't past correctly after I clicked on 'post.' I just provided the link instead.

Grew up a big Gators fan. They will be the ream to beat if they offer.

At the Nike Combine in Orlando, Florida, Zach, among all of the QBs in attendance, had the best timing on routes in the short, intermediate and vertical passing game.

CJ got a "personalized" letter from the NC State coaching staff. However, these personalized recruiting letters are not personalized!
http://sports.yahoo....-153948791.html
Yeaa.. that's a pretty bad fake..
It isn't fake. The recruiting head for NCS really did send it. IMO he was trying too hard to be unique and hip. Problem is that he apparently sent out many copies of that same exact letter to recruits, a couple of which posted a pic on twitter. Those recruits must be a bit pissed thinking they got a one of a kind letter only to find it wasn't.
You can tell it's an obvious photo copy. That C on the line. Can't remember the last time I didn't draw a whole letter because the margins were too tight on the sheet.
Yep....the same with the I that was cut off. These types of letters work if they are actually personally written. Vague personal letters do not work that much. You need to mention specific details that you see on the film and how they would make your team better and how the prospect would fit into the program. Those are the personal letters that get a prospects attention. The type of letter that is in the image above is lazy, mass recruiting efforts.

I recommend McGary ecstatic about Nebraska offer: Don't pigeonhole Kaleb McGary as a lineman because he's tall.
