I'm hesitant to think we are flipping a late commit (Claiborne or Willis) or have a silent commit that is crossing the borders of Nebraska under the veil of night (Alexander), and although I would like Veii, I don't think we need any secret dealings for his commit.

Are we still in the hunt on him? I haven't seen anything that says we are. Sure would be nice, though.

There is definately something up here. No doubt in my mind that we will have a signing day surprise. I could see it being both Alexander's or the Alexander that is committed to OU.

 

The OU Alexander re affirmed his commitment to OU so we can cross him off.

 

I personally think he's just talking signing this class in general. Not everyone follows as closely as we do, so I think he's just referring to the class in general. Would love for a surprise thou.

Must be a new commit. Who is the question? There is a small field, so the answer is limited.

If we don't use the schollies on recruits now, Bo will probably just spend them on walk-ons. Veii's size is not overwhelming, but he can break off big plays.

Sounds like an OSU lean but could very well end up at Florida. We are no longer in the running.

This is one of the few times I'm pulling for UF. tOSU is already stacked.

Thought we had Scott in Lincoln for WR and Veli at CB?

I like him better at WR though. He has track speed and is really shifty. I don't see much physicality on his senior highlights, and he needs to learn to wrap up on his tackles. I say put him on offense let him make some people miss and put up some high-speed shoulder blocks like on his film.

Funny we passed on D. Hunt because of size, but we are going after this guy.

Feels a lot better when recruits consider flipping our way. But, multiple decommits is a concern. Let Bo meet the kid and do some straight talkin. Character is important for this team.

Kid has a motor and is quick off the ball. His senior highlights show a big improvement in pursuit of the ball compared to his junior highlights. Definitely a DE.

He was committed to ASU, now Mizzou. If he ends up in Lincoln, hope he makes it stick. Love to see that motor on every down for N.

I'm loving all these recruits brushing off other offers. It is the 11th hour and time to round out recruiting classes. All teams are going to be pushing hard to get what they need, even poaching committed recruits. Heck, we're doing the same thing. But, our coaching staff has already created one of the best recruiting classes we have had for quite a while and filled many of the positions-of-need. Let's see how they'll finish it. GBR!!!

Over the last week or so, we missed out on a few major prospects and had two decommits, so this is a strong statement for our program. Now, let's pick up Chongo, The Rock, and Martinez The Sequel.
