Not that it matters but Wylie is actually in North Texas, about 30-40 mins. northeast of Dallas.

I'm sooo excited.. there hasn't been one day since season ended that i haven't been thinking about this upcoming year. Especially since i'll have my student tickets.

After watching this series i don't see how i can ever cheer or dwyane wade again. He's probably one of the biggest crybabies in all of professional sports. He doens't even get touched on that last foul in game 5 and he claims he got fouled twice?? pretty lame considering he went over and back before he even got the ball. I'm pretty tired of his whole fall seven times and get up eight gig. He's not that tough and he's not fooling anyone. He goes down everytime someone looks at him wrong. It's hard for me to talk about this series. I get upset everytime i think about it. Lots of upset mavs fans around here.

I'm looking for the name of the song that KU closer Don Czyz walks out to. One of my friends called me looking for the name of it but i haven't heard it so i don't know what to tell him. If anyone knows please let me know.

I think it would be fun to play tennessee. From my experiences they have the second best fans in college football so it would be nice to play a game in the sea of red and play in the sea of orange the next year.

That's also gunna go both ways with Lee whispering in Sullivan's ear about LSU.

So what's the actual story on the decommitment? Did he just decide that he didn't like KSU or are they still in it or what?

Mavs are going to dominate. The spurs were our toughest competition and we handled them. Suns got lucky in game one but we figured out how to slow them down in game 2. heat and pistons don't really have a shot. we dominated both of them in the regular season.

And you can bet your ass people will still be getting tickets on those roads. Especially out in west texas where there's no living things in sight for miles.

I thinks it's something that anyone would do for a family member, you just don't want those kinds of things said to the public. As for the coach, for all we know maybe he intended to tell Leon these things on the phone but since he didn't answer any calls, this was the only way to get to him. Perhaps the coach knew just how to get to Leon and it worked.

BigRedDallasTexan, name some of the garbage at KSU? Just curious.

"garbage" was probably a bad word to use, but the recruits they have couldn't walk on at NU.

We are currently tied for 8th place in the Big 12 with ISU and OSU with one 2007 verbal commit. CU and Baylor are the only two Big 12 schools with zero 2007 commits at this point.

 

Too early to worry? If so, when do we start to worry?

KSU has recruited nothing but garbage, Texas and Texas A&M naturally have an advantage because of the size of the state and after that we're not far behind. Don't worry about it. it's not like it's december and we've only got 1 recruit, it's MAY.

a home and home series with LSU sounds awesome. I've never thought about that one but it'd probably be two great games. By the way, I loved watching you guys bea the crap out of Thug U last december.

I'd rather him take a long time and be 100% sure than commit early and change his mind later.

You don't have to be proven to know they are going to be a good coach. I use Bob stoops and Leach as examples.

I listened to the game on Huskers.com I find with baseball listening to it is usually just as good as watching it on tv.

Two very solid games in my opinion. It's a good sign that guys like Buckman and Wehrle are stepping up. The pitching was amazing in both games and I think the pitching staff will carry this team to a great season.

I think this is a positive as far as team chemisry goes.  The players will see that Callahan is 100% devoted to them, making him someone they want to play for.  I think most players would be glad he's sticking up for the team.

Just curious, but how was BC sticking up for the team by insulting Freeman? I think that there are plenty of other ways of earning player respect. Are you saying that the team would not be 100% behind him if he did not do this kind of stuff?

I was refering to the throat slashing incident that people are still bringing up. I love that our head coach gets emotional when it comes to husker football.
