Running Back by a long shot. I think we are going to have a couple of guys capable of reaching 1000 yards rushing by the end of the year. Wandale should be considered with both WR and RB's.

I loved playing against s#!t talkers. most of them couldnt back it up. Someone as myself having come from a naturally strong family truly enjoyed it.
Kardell Thomas is one of those guys who might be in for a rude awakening at LSU once conference play starts when he's no longer the big bad bully anymore.
-
It's funny you guys should say that he seems uncomfortable and quiet. The guard next to him Kardell Thomas is an outspoken, trash talking, chirper who absolutely destroys 4 and 5 stars at camps. Playing beside a polar opposite could be a good experience for Bryce.
O-line takes all sorts of personalities and the quiet bears always scared the hell out of me when I played. You don't know when they are about to play angry. -

Given Saban's reluctance to suspend guys in the past I'm assuming these guys must've done something truly heinous.
Probably JUST short of gas masking the night before their Bowl game and having it spread like wildfire on social media. Because noone in the SEC would ever do a thing like that.

Which is more relevant and a better predictor of success for 2019 and onwards - what Tom Osborne did at this school 25 years ago, or what the data shows is common between all championship schools in the present era?
“I always said at Oregon that if we could combine our scheme and speed there with old-fashioned Husker Power, that we wouldn’t lose a game,”
We both don't have to be wrong you know.

Nebraska complimented those walk ons with top 10-15 recruiting classes in the 90s.
I'll refer you to the title of the topic and the lead up to Toms pinnacle years weren't always top 10-15. It isn't an end all be all requirement to be at the top.

This is besides the point. Just because some teams with top talent don't do well doesn't mean that you don't still NEED top talent to achieve at the highest level.
Anyways, your report on Fisher's FSU is overblown as well. He won three conference crowns, won his division a 4th time, won a national championship, made it to the playoffs, and had four top 10 finishes out of his 7 years. They certainly underachieved some but Fisher had a very nice run at FSU.
This is an age old argument that has been rehashed every couple of blue moons.
Nebraska proved you could dominate higher rated recruit teams with walk ons in the 90s.
This side of the 21st century every team has the strength and conditioning edge that Nebraska once pioneered.
Just because there isn't an example of a team doing it now doesn't mean it can't be done.

Certainly not necessary for SF and company to be successful as made evident by UCF's run and the success of group of 5 teams.
Just look at Florida State, they consistently had top 10 classes with Jimbo and scads of NFL talent. Save for a National Title a few years ago they have seemed to squander every season at some point and be a whole lot of flash without the play to back it up.
I'll take the Scott Frost led mid-level talent that is maximized over the hyped 4-5 star teams who might not play with a chip on their shoulder.

The transformation of becoming bigger, stronger, and more athletic than the other guys is under way folks.

Damn it's going to be a long offseason.

Great season. Those girls have a lot to be proud of.

Wandale has the potential to grow into an "Emmitt Smith" type back for Nebraska.
Emmitt Smith had 106 TDs in his high school career. Wandale had 87 in his Junior and Senior seasons along (counting "other" TDs).
Emmitt Smith averaged 8 yds/carry as a Senior. Wandale averaged 9.5 yds/carry and that was down from the 13 yds/carry he had as a Junior.
He's probably way more of a receiving threat than Emmitt was also (in high school).
Wandale reminds me of Lesean Mccoy/Barry Sanders.
Once Zach Duval starts molding him, look out. -
Very excited about what this staff is accomplishing with infusing day one starter talent into positions of need.
It shows that Scott knows exactly what this roster is missing to take the next step and has a very proven formula for success he's implementing.
Super smash Daniels/Davis bros are going to be fun to watch next year.

Yes, that much is obvious.
I have been able to gather that if a recruit is about to pick a school, and the info is leaked, the experts all change their crystal balls to match. They get credit for being ‘correct’ in their prediction and all other previous CB declarations are forgotten and absolved.
Much like how most 18 year old kids are fickle.

Yet somehow 2 star guys can become #1 overall picks. -
He seemed to be serviceable in his second year at UCF. He gets a pass from me because of the overhaul project that faced these guys.
I think we could use some new faces on the d-line that this staff is bringing in who will have at least a couple years experience in Duvals program. There might be another year or two of D-line struggles until we can hold a rushing attack at bay more easily.
-
This is pathetic.
-
I will be suprised if we can get a 3 and out on them today with the way they are manhandling our front 7.
-
How many years out are we from changing from Rutgers level defense into Michigan level a** kicking?
-
I'll never understand a cluster of 3 dlinemen offset to one side. One seal block and 3 of our guys are nullified.

Chin either needs new corners or to have his Iowa rooted head examined.
