  1. The 2009 Mizzou rain game is one of my fave's.

And yeah, I plan on keeping that channel running as long as I can.

Ah yes, I watched that one a couple of days ago. I really forgot how much Zac Lee played for us that season. In my mind I was always thinking he got caught up shuffling between Cody Green and then ultimately Taylor Martinez.

Suh was so dominant, but guys like Gomes and shag are often forgotten.

  2. I recently discovered just how many, and in some cases with rather impressive quality, games are on YouTube. With a smart tv it makes it pretty easy to punch in a game and rewatch some great, or in recent years not great moments.

I'm looking for suggestions of games I may have forgotten and discussion about some that I recently watched.

    A few takeaways

-2008 Alex Henery 58 yard FG vs Colorado. I completely did not remember that it was set up by Joe Ganz taking a horrible 15 yard loss on a sack on 2nd down. Without that loss and whatever would have happened on 3rd down that easily could have been a 40 yard FG that helped win the game but certainly not a highlight reel moment. Also Roy Helu was really, really good.

-2011 Inagural B10 game at Wisconsin. I still watch Midway through the 2nd quarter and think that we have a shot to win this game! Early on Wisconsin made quite a few mistakes and we really blew some chances to pounce on them early. By halftime the wheels had fallen off.

  3. Goodness gracious... there are seriously people out there that break down how flattering or appealing clothing is on other men who are attending a football game.

You likely are wearing this to a football game or on game day. If you want to wear a jersey 12-13 times a year have at it. Root on your team whether you choose to do so sleeveless or with baggy sleeves.

  4. Regardless of what others say it's a bad look retweeting and liking all of this Florida stuff amist the picture being released. If he's peer recruiting it's a bad look unless everyone in his circle is in on what he's doing.

That being said he may truly be 100% Committed and I'll believe what he's saying in interviews until he says otherwise. He has been a kid with high character and his word seems to carry weight.

  5. Blades has to graduate with an Associates Degree to move on. Following this kids recruitment I would consider that a sizable hurdle to overcome before worrying about where he's going.

He just seems to have a difficult time following through on things and not the greatest support team giving him advice.

  6. Reading and listening to quite a few recruiting and husker media outlets there seems to be a belief out there that Blades will have an extremely difficult time ever making it to a program like Nebraska, Florida, etc...

Its disappointing but the kid needed to put the work in.

  7.

This sounds like "the sellout streak is ending."

No where even close to happening. They are still selling season tickets with a hefty donation.

If they ever dropped the mandatory donation these seasontickets would sell out within days.

It's much closer than you think. The top 15-20 rows in north & south stadium no longer require any donation at all. That wasn't the case as recently as three years ago.

Don't kid yourselves. Through no fault of Nebraska's, this streak could end, too.

Way to many people around that will make sure the streak doesn't end... now when younger generations have to step up and pick up the tickets and continen consume sports differently then I can see them having trouble.

Years and years away from any real threat, or continuous losing seasons and turmoil.
