Thanks, read them when I logged in and think I am good to go after a second read.

Owner seems nice enough. Never met him but he invited us to a tailgate when he took over did not have to do that. (all of Huskerboard)

Had a friend used a faux name, that was similar to mine then did some dumbass post I did not get banned so I guess they do check the IPs. (kazlongdrives300) Sure he is still reading.

He is still my friend we dont talk often however it would be a mad king tyrant to ban us both.

My friend thought it was hilarious to use my name with my driving range.

Hope everything is working out in Idaho.

Just follow the rules - no personal threats or jokes about killing people and you should be ok.

    Ticket scalping illegal outside Memorial?

I don't think so? I have walked around shouting 2 - need two cops never bothered me. Usually do it outside the stadium or at tailgates near the stadium. Never done it right in front of the entrance. I know Omaha has a city code against doing it within a half mile of the venue selling above face value. However I have bought several tickets to Creighton or other events outside the CHI health arena's front door.

I agree that the best way to a great program is to win 8 games comfortably (by better talent) and doing your best in the remaining 50-50 games. However, what has shown you to think that Frost can get his team up to getting to the point of winning the 8 games comfortably?  Crap, Frost can't even get a winning record against any of the Big Ten West teams. These are 6 opponents which NU plays every year. Frost has a losing record!  Why even think about playoff with this current coaching staff?

Frost has never beaten Iowa or Wisconsin. :bang

Ok, then why does Frost insist on playing Martinez when he has seen that he chokes when it matters most. Martinez had 4 INT and Frost insisted on going with him to the end. Put smothers in for a series. The guy might surprise you. He might be a better QB cone crunch time. Purdue had three QBs ready to play. You can defend Frost all you want but these decisions were his and his alone. If you see your QB is choking and struggling, no one would blame you if you took him out and gave the next man up a chance. Unless your game plan is built around Martinez and no one else. Frost’s offense has no identity. It feels like trial and error with mostly error, and if for some reason something works, we stop doing it. At some point people will run out of ways to defend Frost.

Unless things are worse than we think. Not defending Frost.

I honestly feel bad for Frost. He should of stayed at UCF. He has ruined his legacy.

The question will be next week has he lost the team?

His statements this week seems to indicate he has given up.
Granted his off field conduct and issues he might be having a melt down.

Hopefully he can pull rabbits out of his a$$ and win the last series which would be awesome.

The boosters I know are down for buying tickets for next year. (if they haven't already)

Personally if we could get a translator for Ed Orgeron I would be ok with him.

No idea. I’m just done being cool with 5-7. Frost is running out of runway. He might survive another sub .500 year, but 5 in a row is game over. He needs to start winning these type of games or he’s done. No more **so close**.

As someone thinking about buying into the Ireland package next year. Do I want to spend 10,000 dollars for my family and myself to go over there and watch a subpar product? No I think not.

If it was the team that beat the crap out of Northwestern then sure.

I hope he is, wouldn't think he would take any other jobs now.  He was with Ohio for longer than anyine could've predicted.

We offered to put him in our hall of fame last week he said no thanks. The CFB wanted to put him in it last week to he said, No.

I'm not "good" with any losses.  But some are easier to swallow when the team actually looks like a team and not a JV squad dressing up for the first time like they have for the better part of a decade.

Frank Solich, and break the curse

He claims he is done with it. My understanding is he is retired and done with it all. He did not even want to be put in the football hall of fame.

The Riley excuse doesn't hold water anymore. This is all Frost's team now.

Not as an excuse. I just mean, as a brand. That matters when recruiting. The question is coaching kids up. Pelini could coach kids up and get 9 wins every season.

Another Great Coach Belichick would take dumpster picks like tom brady 6th or 7th round and win 5 or 6 super bowls.

These Kids weren't alive when we were world beaters.

How do many do we send to the NFL - less than Iowa. Less than OSU. We send less then most of the other 'power' programs, if we are even one anymore.

So we lost to Illinois because we played good teams? All I’ve said is 6 wins should be the minimum expectation and being cool with 4-5 win is dumb.

I would agree with that 10 years ago. However where are we as a team? As a brand? If we could hire a Pelini again and turn things around overnight great. Otherwise we deal with what we have. Frost is dealing with a Riley brand team.

LSU just lost (blown out) to Kentucky - imagine their fan base.

Ok totally made up penalty here, but I'm flagging this for delay of reply for a disconcerting post. Like the refs I just totally made that crap up too.

Flag on the play for non judicial like conduct.

Second flag for wahbat on the field.
    Third flag for cavalier attitudes.

I should leave too, but I'm a masochist.

It's also the middle of the afternoon in Australia and I'm still locked down.

Good Day mate - did a dingo eat your baby?

That's not a knife this is a knife.

That's not a beer this is a beer - Fosters for those who are to fancy to drink Natty Ice.

I learned that we have fallen a long way but we seem to be crawling out of hell. Once we get out boy look out. Not for moral victories but Frost if he doesn't self destruct any further seems he can do this gig. Not an endorsement or an insult.

You made my point.  With Special Teams this horrendous, and you cannot overstate how bad they are, 20 and 16 points respectively is not enough to win.  You need more points, especially when the D BALLED OUT today.  We had a chance to win in regulation.  Scott was scared.  We had a chance to go up two scores when their D was completely demoralized.  We could not do it.

The O was simply not enough.

Not sure how manly we handled the manly punts or firld them...

Yall I'm trying, I love nebraska,  but I cant handle this.

Not sure what Warren has to do with this post, or the color of his skin. Seems like an agenda. If someone wants to start a fire Warren post feel free. To be honest I feel Frost has had his job this long because he is white./s

  14. Let me put it this way...

    I hope we win.

I will be very happy if we play for at least the conference title.

That said I think we are still sitting around 4-6 wins.

Nebraska does not have a Frost warning after this year.

    Aug. 28                 at Illinois (maybe)
    Sept. 4                  Fordham (win)
Sept. 11                Buffalo (should be a win but a good team)
Sept. 18                at Oklahoma  (lets get real loss)
Sept. 25                at Michigan State  (who wants to lose more?)
Oct. 2                    Northwestern   (god damn book sniffers maybe)
Oct. 9                    Michigan       (maybe but most likely a loss)
Oct. 16                  at Minnesota   (they are going to row the boat loss, we should historically beat the crap out of them)
Oct. 30                  Purdue   (should be a win)
Nov. 6                   Ohio State   (lets win! jk loss)
    Nov. 20                 at Wisconsin   (loss)
    Nov. 26 (Fri.)       Iowa   (loss :( )

    Those are my two cents.
