I'm gonna go with Calvin and then I'm gonna go with Darnay. Not sure which one commits first during the game, but I think we get both.

Hearing former husker player Eric Johnson thinks we have a shot with Beal.

Must be unemployed.. : ) Seriously though as much as I'd love Darnay coming to Nebraska I just don't see it. Parent never came to UNL and we didn't see a coach visit him before the dead period. He did post Michigan and Ohio State visiting. I'd be stunned.. and so excited!!
How much?I'd put my money on Darnay being N
My next four paychecks
Haha I can see why you'd be hesitant to believe me. But if I had to pick who would be N out of our top targets remaining, it'd be Darnay

If I remember correctly, Banker and/or Riley is on record as saying the 3-4 is exactly what they'd like to run in the future.
I'm pretty sure you do not remember correctly.
Riley said it in an interview. At the 12 minute mark

People that follow both football and basketball recruiting will tell you that location is less of a factor in BB recruiting. Not really sure why. This team right now is made up of the type of players we have been begging for. We have good outside players along with some young well built players on the inside.
It's frustrating to me that they are playing at the level they are playing at because of this. However, I think how this team progresses this year and into next year will tell us what we need to know about the future of Miles.
At the very least, if Miles needs to be replaced, surely we have shown the world we are serious about basketball and that good recruits CAN be brought to Lincoln in basketball. That should make a top young coach drool.
I've never understood the argument that you can't recruit to Nebraska because of where we are located. Kansas is able to do it, so why can't we?
Most people will also tell you that location wasn't the biggest factor holding Nebraska back before. It was lack of commitment to the sport. We have proved now that we are committed to the sport with the facilities and money we have pumped into it. We also should have proven that we have a fan base that will back the team.
The only thing I can think of is football being played outdoors, so they don't like the weather. But I'm not sure if that has a big impact on recruits.

I actually like Miles. But can someone tell me what he does well as a coach? Besides that one season we haven't showed progression since he was hired.

Was hoping you were right. Glad you were!Glad the info finally came out.

10-3
Undefeated up until Ohio State. Lose to them and Iowa. Make it to the CCG. Another loss to a young but talented Buckeyes team. Didn't guess the bowl game because I have no idea who we would be playing.

Had a talk with him and he told me basically the same thing. He's still going to play football this fall for Norfolk though. He said he has more passion for basketball.

In my opinion I think he is a TE. I think it might depend on how his senior year of football goes.Could Strom grow into being a huge offensive tackle? Or does he project as a TE?

UCLA made a surprise visit to Norfolk during school today to talk with Strom. He said he had no idea they were coming.

Not sure if there has been anything on Twitter, but he is currently visiting Wake Forest
Differing points of view as I am a father not a peer. Logan works hard at being funny not getting bigger, faster, stronger. This basketball season was super disappointing, had all those Juniors been working hard Lane wouldn't have to get pissed and take over the last 5 minutes to win the games that shouldn't have been that close. Don't get me wrong, they are all good kids but they could be so much better. Logan should be dominating and he is not!
I'm friends with a couple of the juniors on the team, I will admit that a couple of them are cocky. But when it comes to sports with Strom, he will work harder than almost anyone I know. He wants to succeed. Not sure how much Mary Pats knows about him but I can tell you that I wouldn't guess that he ends up playing with Hagedorn again.
you seem to know a lot about him. I used to teach a Norfolk public. Strom was only a 6th grader when I stopped teaching so I don't really know him. A friend that still teaches there doesn't really care for any of the Jr's on the team says they are a real arrogant bunch. He says that Matt Hagadorn is going to be better and most likely bigger than his brother.
Kid has athletic gifts for sure--work ethic I'm not sure about, everything has come pretty easy for him in his life. Could be a D1 Tackle imo but never could give up handling the ball. Probably best if he pursues bball but he didn't have near the year most thought he would. I would guess he lands up north with Hagedorn.http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3510581/highlights/314936439/v2
This is 6'8 Logan Strom out of Norfolk. He's a close friend of mine and I told him I'd help him out by getting some views on his tape. He's already been in contact with Tim Miles since Basketball is his number 1 sport. He didn't get as many targets as he should have this year but I think the number will go up quite a bit next year! Thanks to anyone who takes their time to watch it

Let's just say I have a source I find very reliable and I give us about a 95% chance of getting him.
